Exquisite McCall Log Cabin - Walk to Payette Lake!

This place was truly amazing. We came in the summer time which, based on previously reviews, seems to be pretty unique. It was a perfect summer vacation. Close to everything including fishing, the lake itself, and downtown McCall. The bikes in particular were a genius addition. My kids loved biking to all the fun places to get ice cream or down to the pier. The host was perfect and communicative. It was great to have a dining room that fit the whole family so we didn’t have to go to a restaurant every night. The kitchen was well stocked. And had all we needed for cooking. This cabin is truly impressive and well priced. The only negative thing I could say about it (and the owner has no control over this) is that the road outside gets pretty noisy pretty early in the morning. And the crows will wake you up promptly at 5 am every morning because they are LOUD. We loved every second of our stay.

Had a great trip start to finish. Communication was perfect, check in was easy and house was amazing. I loved that it was so close to town but just far enough away that there wasn’t a lot of traffic in the area. Would definitely book this house again.

Spent a weekend with my family to celebrate my 60th. What an awesome location for a large family! The kitchen was well equipped and handled all meals with ease. The three main bedrooms were equipped with king-size beds, which was nice for the adult couples of the group. The fourth bedroom had three twins and a full (bunkbed style). Our group had 3 teenage boys and 2-9yr old girls. That arrangement was tough, but we made it work. The house was equipped with two full baths and one 1/2 bath. It was a challenge for the upstairs bedrooms (3 of them) to share a single bathroom but again, we made it work. We had moments of light snowfall (which was lovely) and even used the BBQ on the patio to produce some amazing steaks. Lots of bedding and towels are provided. Hand soap and kitchen supplies were also provided.

This is the second time our family has stayed at this beautiful cabin! Amazing location and walkable into downtown McCall. The house provides all the amenities needed during your stay. The owner is very responsive and proactively reached out upon arrival to ensure everything was in order. The interior design makes enhances the cabin in the woods. Such a great retreat. Highly recommend this log cabin for your next McCall stay!

We had a great time. Communication was great from start to finish. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great. Five stars!!

Wonderful, beautiful place with lots of features however, upon arrival bear proof garbage can was not secured and garbage was all over the ground after picking up the garbage there was little room in can for our garbage so had to leave some bagged in the garage. Also security entrance code was wrong so had to contact Evolve for new code otherwise all was good.

It was the best rental experience we’ve ever had! Exceeded all of our expectations and we would love to stay there again
