The best cabin I’ve ever stayed in with my wife

A very relaxing and comfortable stay set with the beautiful backdrop of the Blue Mountains.

Our stay was wonderful, the property better than advertised. So cozy and welcoming, nothing but peace and quiet.

This was the perfect serene oasis. We celebrated our 10th anniversary at the cabin and it was an amazing location - private and peaceful, but still close enough to nearby attractions. The cabin itself was wonderful and just as advertised. The perfect place for 2 people. And the pond and yard area were better than advertised - the view was unbelievable. The cabin had everything we needed. We were only there for 2 nights so didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to be very well-stocked with all the necessary pots, utensils, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the whole cabin was clean and well-appointed. We definitely hope to stay at this little slice of heaven again!

Everything about the experience was an absolute pleasure. The home was ideal as a couple spending a weekend in the area. It’s beyond charming, extremely clean and well kept. Very private space on a beautiful piece of land and just a short ride to town. John couldn’t have been easier to work with. Highly recommended.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. We enjoyed having a wood fire each evening. We would enjoy a summer visit to check out the pond, trail (we did get part way around the trail before the snow became too deep) and more of the area. The cabin was very well kept and impressively built. We had everything we needed to cook and noticed a BBQ outside (a little too cool for that on this visit).

Had an amazing 4 days, very relaxing and peaceful, highly recommended for anyone looking for a couple of days away from everyday life.

We loved everything about staying here. It is very private, clean and so cozy. The cabin has all the amenities you need and John was an awesome host. Situated close to downtown Collingwood and the Scandinave Spa. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location couldn’t be better — private and peaceful, yet just a short drive to Blue Mountain Village and the Scandinavian Spa.The wood-burning fireplace quickly became our favourite spot to unwind, and the BBQ made evenings feel extra special. Everything was smooth, easy, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing escape.We had such a wonderful weekend we’re already talking about our next visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

All good. Interesting to fly 2.5 hours from Bermuda and going from 24c to -3.5c and snow. Great for us to see!

Perfect spot for a romantic getaway. The cabin is very well done and the property is private and serene. We spent a cool fall weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the woodburning fireplace. The bed is comfortable and the view from the bedroom balcony is excellent. Sunsets were spectacular and we spotted deer, turkeys and a beaver. We're already planning to come back to enjoy other seasons at this cabin.

Everything about this place was top notch! Very clean, very private led to a very relaxing stay. Check in was simple. Fully stocked kitchen, all the pots n pans you’d need. Nice bbq too.If peace and quiet is what you want with all the amenities of city life just a short drive away then this is the place!

Great spot for a getaway, we enjoyed the seclusion of the log cabin and the pond was great for swimming. We would 100% stay here again, highly recommend.

The cabin was as pictured. It is down a long lane and is very private and quiet. Perfect for a reset and relax weekend away. We will return.

Wonderful property, you can just sit and enjoy nature without having to go anywhere else. We loved sitting on the deck, playing board games and being left alone in a secluded part of nature.

What a beautiful cabin and property to enjoy a peaceful vacation! The location is great - super close to Collingwood (or Wasaga) - but tucked away in a private lot with fields, forest and the pond. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, going for walks on the trail and relaxing by the fire (inside and out). John was quick to respond to inquiries and also very accommodable. Highly Recommended!

The cabin is absolutely magic inside and out. I found myself just standing there admiring the view multiple different times. The only negative if I was to provide one was the bedroom could use a ceiling fan or some sort of fan. As we didn’t go in the summertime, it wasn’t really hot so no air conditioning needed during our stay but by 2am we woke up hot each night and had to open the balcony door for 5 min to stand and cool down. Advice would be bring a travel fan if your not there during hot summer months when the A/C would be on. Now. It wasn’t insufferable or I would have messaged the host and asked about A/C for night time. It was a short stay and magic. The view inside and outside the cabin and the whole vacation from booking to leaving was so easy. Had a small wave from the host who saw us drive in at check in but you can’t even see the main house from the cabin. It felt very secluded, safe and so pretty. The trail is also nice to walk, it’s only about 20 min and the grass is cut for you to walk. I personally rolled my ankle and have zero idea how it happened but that was all on me. The trail was nice and well taken care of. One thing we forgot was olive oil and the hosts had tons of spices and dishes and coffee but not olive oil. Again not a negative, they’re not required to supply it, but as advice, bring that for your stay. 10/10. 9.7 if I factor the fan upstairs.

We stayed for a birthday weekend getaway. The place is spectacular all around. The host was great and everything was easy. We look forward to booking with them again some time.

all was good.. description of property says that coffee filters are provided.. just no coffee drip maker:) Glass selection a bit sparse.. small details and the only 'complaints' ... great space!!!! John blew out the driveway after 18 of snow.. early so was very helpful:) will return:)

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! This was our 3rd time staying there and we can’t wait to book again. It has everything you need to stay in and cook your own meals but also so close to Collingwood and Blue mountain if you prefer a night out.

Amazing property and beautiful cabin. My wife and I went for 2 nights to have a little couples getaway and we were blown away. The property is well maintained and stunning. The cabin was perfect, cozy and clean. We will be making this an annual getaway. Just an absolutely amazing experience.

This cabin is cozy, well-appointed and absolutely perfect for two. And the property it is situated on is incredible! The ponds, the gardens, the stone paths, the dock, the firepit, the trail through the woods, the wraparound porch, multiple sitting areas, and the privacy!! Nothing but 10s all around. We caught amazing sunsets, and have fabulous pics of the early morning sun setting the autumn colours ablaze all around us. It was very relaxing and very peaceful. Highly recommend.

A gorgeous long weekend on an even more beautiful property. Check-in was seamless, the cottage was spotless, and the landscaping incredible. Lots of wildlife, and unbelievable sunsets right from the dock. The home is on a large, shared property but secluded enough that you’d never know another soul was around. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property and well kept.

The cabin and the property are beautiful. We stayed for 2 nights, as a much needed getaway. We ventured into Blue Mountain Village, and Thornbury. It was so nice to return to the cabin at night, where it was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking the trail through the woods as well. This is definitely a property that we would love to book another stay at in the future!

This property and cabin helped us to feel like part of nature. The view was wonderful, cabin was tastefully decorated, bed was extremely comfortable, and the quiet was very calming. We had the best sleeps of our life. Privacy abounds on this property. The wood burning fireplace was an added touch as well. The owners were very helpful with anything and made sure we had a wonderful stay. This property is one of a kind. Thanks for a great vacation.

The property was stunning! It was very quiet and peaceful! The trail on the property was beautiful, and a very nice walk. The cabin inside was disappointing that it just was not clean.

My husband and I really needed to get away and celebrate our 1st Anniversary. This cabin and property was much more than we had expected. Beautiful cabin and property. It was so quiet, clean, private and peaceful! Just what we needed to refresh, recharge and return to real life. Thank you John and Cheryl

We found this little gem searching for an end of summer getaway. The pictures don’t do the place justice, it is so much more beautiful in person. The walking trail around the property was wonderful, we saw lots of animal tracks, a blue heron, goldfinch, bunnies and lots of dragonflies. We saw turtles and fish in the pond while enjoying our morning coffee and tea. Town and Blue Mountain are a close drive away with lots of things to see and do. If you are looking for a great place to eat lunch or dinner check out Fig and Feta, they serve authentic Greek food that is absolutely delicious. John and Cheryl were wonderful, we will definitely be back again!

We enjoyed the privacy of this cottage, it’s like your own little oasis. It has everything you need. The owners did a beautiful job, the aesthetics and landscaping added to the beauty. Would recommend for couples looking to leave the city behind. The location was nice in terms of getting to shops, eateries and the beach as well.

Honestly this is one of the most beautiful places tonstay and it made the most amazing backdrop for my 5 year anniversary. Will book again

If you are seeking peace and quiet with a stunning view, this is the place for you. Photos do not capture the true beauty of this place. We loved walking around the pond, sitting on the dock, and swinging on the porch swing. After a day of sightseeing, there's no better place to unwind and relax with a glass of wine. The sunsets are absolutely beautiful. The owners were wonderful in helping with the booking, despite my computer glitch. Many thanks, 10/10 would highly recommend!!
