Escape to your cozy cabin near Bennett Spring State Park

Cozy with lots of light. Very close to Bennett Springs. Beds were clean and comfortable. The coffee maker needs replacing (it took 2 hours to make a full pot). Lots of dead bugs and cobwebs. Needs a deep cleaning. Bring your own bar of soap. It's a bit overpriced for the area but sleeps lots of people.

We stayed over Thanksgiving - myself and my three kids 13 - 19 and our dog. We had the perfect escape. We ate like crazy, laid around, watched the entire first Stranger Things drop of episodes together, played games at the big table, did a great hike down at the Bennett Springs park. Host answered so many questions from me as I planned transporting a Thanksgiving meal to prepare there. Highly recommend, she was great to work with and obviously takes a lot of pride in this cabin get-a-way.

Second stay with this host. Responsive to pre trip questions, A! Good accommodation for our party of 6! Front deck good for shedding waders, etc. and rear deck just great for happy hour and dining.

The property was overall a nice place…. Just with a group of adults needs another couch … only had enough places for 4 people to sit in the living room.

Great location for a family fishing trip! The place is just like the pictures and only a few minutes from the state park. The house has a great feel and is setup perfect. This is the place we stay for our annual trip and will definitely be back!

nice privacy and plenty of sleeping quarters

We really enjoyed our stay. We took our adult kids on a first time float and bonding trip. The cabin was perfect for our situation. We will probably book again next year. The only issue we had was the trash cans out front were full when we checked in and racoons got in and had it spread out both mornings when we got up.

Very comfortable and convenient for our family. We also booked a float trip through them and it was great.

Place is always nice. Shower is a little hard to turn on. The wifi speed is only 2Mbps download so streaming on the smart TV does not work well. I would recommend turning off DirecTV and upgrading the wifi.

Perfect home for a larger family. We have stayed here 2 years in a row for trout fishing. Will definitely book this same house for next year.

This was our second boys fishing trip. My brother and my son this year, my nephew wasn’t able to make it. We will definitely try to make it our annual staying place. It was very clean and comfortable. Also a big plus to be so close to the fishing at Bennett Spring.

We shared our stay with family and some of them love to fish and did so at Bennett Springs. It was a very good experience for all of us. The property was very clean and cozy. However, the first night there we were unable to light the propane wall heater so it was a bit cold....BUT when we assumed the property was open for calls the next morning we called the office and a repair man was there to take care of the property within 15-20 minutes. Problem solved for the rest of our stay! I would recommend the property for anyone who is looking for a great experience. Located next to Lebanon, MO where you find stores to purchase anything you may have forgotten.

Great place with all you need in a wonderful setting! Kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook meals. Host was very responsive to questions and house was super clean. Can't ask for any better for the price!Cheers,Greg -Chapel Hill, NC

Was great we have a lot of fun fishing

Great place. Layout worked well for 5 people with lots of gear and seasonal clothing. Location is great for park access and easy drive into town for an evening meal. Host quickly responded in person to a tv issue.

This is a very nice, comfortable cabin. It is very close to Bennett Spring and perfect for a few people or a bigger group. Easy access right off Hwy 64, very clean and secure. We would not hesitate to book this cabin again.

Great place to stay for our friends fishing trip. Had everything we needed and the best access to the park you could ask for. Our new go-to spot!

Our group of guys on a fishing trip loved this property and all the amenities. The description was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed for all our cooking. Even had two deer visit one morning. Hope to snag this one again next year for our trip.

I think this cabin would be suitable for large families or groups who visit the area to fish or float. There are a couple of areas though that could definitely be improved for guests. The location and address on both the website and drop pin provided did not take us to the cabin. Both took us on a horrible narrow and desolate four wheel condition dirt road with no cabin in site. We stopped the car and called the host who immediately accepted our call and helped us back track and get to the cabin. That was very helpful! The cabin location on VBRO states it is an 8 minute walk and just outside the park entrance. In our experience, this wasn't the case. The cabin is much further north on hwy 64 and close to the Bailey Family Cemetery. We didn't realize until the end of our stay that the deadbolt was probably not working the entire time we were there, thus open to anyone day or night. My fault but I didn't scrutinize the entire amenities and didn't realize there wasn't a dishwasher. Since you're relying on how clean the previous guest hand washed the dishes before putting back in the cabinet, I would suggest a new sponge (in wrapping) be provided to each guest instead of the very used one left at the kitchen sink. The sink stopper didn't work so we really couldn't sufficiently clean dishes with good hot and soapy water. I realize we booked at the end of a busy season so hopefully the cabin (which is cute) gets a deep clean and ready for the 2025 guests.

Nice cabin, no bugs, close to Bennett. Not the best area and pretty much right on the highway so we couldn’t just walk out the cabin and hike.

Quiet, restful, spacious

This was a great place to stay for our fishing trip. We had a great time and really enjoyed the place. We had great communication and quick response with any issues we had. I would love to stay here again during our next trip.

The property was great for our needs had plenty of space. We had 4 adults and one kid and it worked out great. If you are fishing it’s hard to beat the location easy access to front and back entrance of Bennett Springs. We have stayed with Riverfront multiple times over the years and have never been disappointed.

It was pleasant , relaxing and great for a family . Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals , except need to bring your own spices and condiments, which was not a problem for us . The TV was a little challenge to figure out to work but staff helped us get through this . Staff at rivercamp were great . Plenty of space in bathroom for storage of personal belongings , beds are good and plenty of room to sleep . Great deck - space and it was a good overall stay - will go back. Washer / Dryer are nice . Great place to stay for a fun long weekend or fishing/ hunting . Its a great way to enjoy the outdoors if you are not a camper but want to enjoy nature /relax. close to State Park , floating and etc. Did not have time to use pool/hot tub at Rivercamp - so busy with other activities but will go back . Also , fire pit was nice too . Enjoy this as well , sitting outside in the evenings with a camp fire . Great backyard if want to do family games outside, it does have a slight slope but this is the nature of the land . Overall it was a great vacation and great memories with my husband and my children . We plan to go back :)
