Escape to your cozy 2-bedroom cabin near DuPont State Forest

The cabin was fine in all respects. But the property made it special. Very private, very peaceful, and a beautiful view. We liked it so much, we thought about claiming squatters' rights and never leaving! But we really wouldn't want to deprive others of this special place. Will be happy to return.

The house was cozy, the view was breathtaking! Great local eats around, as well as nearby falls and hiking trails. Would absolutely love to return.

It is quiet, secluded, and just what i was looking for. It is a bit rustic, no central air. The bedrooms do have window units. The weather was mild so did not feel this was a negative. Groceries are a bit of a drive, so, stop on your way (there is no keurig). There is a roadside farm stand a few miles away and the ice cream stand within walking distance is wonderful. I did find the larger bed a bit uncomfortable. It was just me so had my pick of beds and found one of the twins adequate. The porch swing and view was perfect! I will definitely stay here again when i need Me time. With as much property, i wish they would allow tents. I would love to come back with my children and their children and really use the space and firepit. 😊

The views were even better than the pictures showed! Great location, just down from several waterfalls and the best ice cream stop is right next door.

Everything was great

Host was very responsive. Cabin had everything we needed. View was spectacular. We saw deer everyday, a turkey flock and even the elusive white squirrel one morning. There was even dry firewood already cut and ready for us for the firepit. Great central location to do blue ridge parkway, waterfall chasing in brevard and dupont state forest.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The location was perfect for seeing the beautiful waterfalls and georgeus scenery around the area of Pisgah and DuPont. The views from the cabin were simply amazing especially in the mornings. We hope to book the cabin again soon for a weekend getaway.

Cabin & views are even more wonderful than the VRBO pics!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! Sitting on the screened in porch each morning and evening was HEAVEN!! Private, quiet, comfortable, clean, and convenient to several waterfalls. We will be back!

The pics do not do this spot justice—a stunning view and lovely property. The cabin itself was super cozy. And it’s in a great location—a stone’s throw from the spectacular falls of DuPont State Forest. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay—and central to some great adventure motorcycle riding and all the other things Brevard and WNC has to offer. Of note is that only the bedrooms are air conditioned with small window units (no central AC). There are fans but the common areas were warm in the summer heat during the day. I did not see this mentioned in the property description, but may have missed it.

We came for a quick weekend getaway and had an amazing time. The property was beautiful and the lodging was more than adequate. We had a wonderful time. We cooked both nights and had everything we needed. We enjoyed being close to waterfalls and didn’t need to go far off property. We would love to stay again.

The cabin was rustic and adorable. Particularly liked the coffee table shaped like North Carolina and the table set with acorns on the chairs. Loved sitting on the porch and watching the clouds float in the valleys below. And the woods are so beautiful with no people for miles it seemed.

My daughter and I have been staying at this location for many years. It is a beautiful place.

Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We loved sitting on the porch swing, looking out at the the majestic mountains, and watching the white squirrels, rabbits, and birds in their natural habitat. Nothing but nature all around us. My husband is an avid mountain biker so he loved the close proximity to Dupont State Forrest! He also drove the 40 minutes to Ride Rock Creek. This cabin was the perfect location for all that we did! My one and only suggestion would be for an upgrade to the queen size bed. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is basic but the property is beautiful. Fire pit with a view of the mountains and the town below. Pleanty of hiking and all leavels within a 5-30min drive. Many close beautiful waterfalls.

Wish we had a more time to spend there. Had vehicle troubles and the owners were great working with us. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time at this place. We woke up to deer eating the yard and the views are breath taking. We were on top of the mountain looking down into the valley. Great sunrises and were able to unwind by a fire at the fire pit. We’re writing a couple miles to local trails and 3 nice waterfalls

We stayed here for a week of MTB riding. The cabin was as advertised and perfectly located near the DuPont trail heads. We liked the secluded feel.

This is our 3rd booking with this property and you can’t beat the seclusion and that gorgeous view! It’s a nostalgic piece of property that we will continue to visit as much as we possibly can!

My husband and I loved this rustic property. You truly cannot beat the view. It’s quiet and secluded yet close enough to activities should you not wish to stay at the cabin during the day. We will be back!

Loved the tranquil comfortable stay at the Hubbard’s place. A great spirit about it, with everything we needed for taking a break in the mountains. Great location for exploring DuPont and seeing surrounding beauties. Would definitely return!

One of our favorite getaways! So peaceful with breathtaking views! Close to hiking trails, close but far enough away from eateries and grocery needs! Had a pleasant encounter with mama bear and her cub! Our first time here and if you are looking for a hidden gem, we highly recommend and hope to come back soon! 5 stars!

It's very private and relaxing

Wonderful place to stay our son wanted to go camping no spaces available so this place was like you was camping. It’s in the woods. It’s quiet. It’s got fire pit. You’re at the end of the road in Woods. It was really really spectacular. We really enjoyed ourselves. The views are wonderful everything was really great
