Escape to Priest Lake! Cabin in the woods! Air Conditioning and WiFi!!

We very much enjoyed our stay, and would like to come back again!

Another great stay at the cabin in the woods! Jeff is an absolutely great host taking care of any and all needs that have come up during our various stays at his comfy cabin. The central location is great as it is only 15 minute drive North to Beaver Campground and the majestic Priest Lake Thoroughfare for some amazing paddle boarding and fishing. And only 15 minutes drive south to Hills Resort and Tamrak grocery store. The Ledgewood public beach, Elkins Resort, and the small Norman grocery store and bar are all within five minutes drive.Jeff‘s Cabin in the Wood takes primary advantage of all the magnesite native cedar trees and that wonderfully unique aroma they bring to the forest setting.And special props to the cleaners! The cabin is always well capped and very clean. Can’t wait till next year!

Quiet and peaceful. This cabin was very clean and very quiet. Loved the peacefulness a little bit away from town. Couldn’t figure out the outdoor lights or WIFI but that could have been user error!! Check in and checkout was super easy as well with very specific instructions.

Cabin was perfect for our stay visiting friends down the road. Very comfortable and quiet, beautiful access trails and close to the Lake. We would definitely return - Thank you!

It was August however it was 45 degrees at night. The power went out and it was pitch black. Found a flash light with out batteries. The a/c,heat unit wasn't plumbed right and it only ran for an hour at a time. Finally found a tiny little 2 foot heater that was really loud and didn't do much. No firewood for the fireplace. Which we understand due to the time of yr. The railing on the wall to go upstairs was loose wich could have been a disaster if we we had been upstairs during the power outage and had to go downstairs in the dark. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. My kids are 9 and 10 and deemed this the best rental that mom has picked so far. We found everything we could need and we were close enough to the lake that the drive each day wasn't an issue. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy.

Loved the place and wasn't ready to leave. Just a few little things went wrong....The fuse kept popping and we couldn't find the fuse box, but, Jeff came to the rescue and went all laughed afterwards for not looking behind a picture. Lights outside were not working so for us old folks it was kinda hard to see at night to go to the bunkhouse to sleep. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay and relax with the family. Clean, quite, and people around the cabin were very friendly.

A large living, dining, kitchen area allowed lots of family time. Single bathroom had an on-demand hot water heater that did a good job of hearing the water quickly and steadily. A separate water heater for the kitchen was very nice. There is no washing machine or drying line, but there is a laundry mat not too far away. Very cute little place. Would stay there again.

Not easy to find places at priest lake but this one was a gem for our family. It has access to the lake with a 5 min walk and plenty of places to sleep. We spent most of our time outdoors so this served as a good home base. Only wish would have been dock access but at this price I wasn’t expecting it. Would definitely stay again.

We were so happy to find this cute cabin with a bunk house. We are a family of 5 with adult children. It was perfect for us! It’s just a short walk to lake access where we enjoyed morning coffee every morning. It’s a small area with about 6 chairs and a bench and each time we were there it was just us. So peaceful! We did not go to the public beach because we had family near by and always went to their private beach but we passed by the public beach. It was crazy crowded one day which I believe was a Sunday but the other days during the week it was pretty empty. They had lots of extra supplies that are not always included in a vacation rental which was a nice surprise. The only negative for this place would be that 5 of us shared one bathroom which was challenging some days. We knew this going in but worth mentioning. I would recommend adding a couple mirrors somewhere else besides the bathroom so others can have that while getting ready after showering. I don’t recall if there was one in the bunkhouse. Overall we are extremely happy with our stay and will definitely stay there again when we go back!
