Escape to Moose Crossing – A Cozy Cabin Retreat in Blue Ridge, GA!

Spacious and hot tub is nice. Could use some small updates: new towels, more glasses, new toaster

The host was a joke. Andrea Denton. The cabin was not cleaned. Roaches we found the 3rd day. We called to try to resolve issues. But we didn’t get nothing done. VRBO can do better!!!!The host actually wanted me to pay extra to have someone come and clean the jacuzzi. TERRIBLE

Our host was quick to respond to all questions and messages we sent. There were a couple of items that I brought to their attention that need to be addressed but the host was very appreciative regarding the feedback sent.

Cozy, little place perfect distance from all the fun things blue ridge has to offer!

Host was quick to respond to issues. Five adults for 4 night and there was thee total of 2 rolls of Toilet paper. She had Ingles deliver more.The housekeeping & upkeep was almost unacceptible1) Light bulb over kitchen sink was missing.2) stove vent had not fan or light button.3) Cabinets doors were falling apart.4) Dust on fan in one bedroom was thick.5) Four of the eletronic controllersdid not work6) No instructions on how any of the electronics worked.7) Road to cabin was a real challenge8) Fire pit - no fire wood. Last few cabins we have rented had some wood9) The main floor bathroom had a constant drip in the tub, which we notified the host as soon as we got there. It dripped for our whole stay. 10) The beautiful old wood plank floors on the main level creaked & were popping up nail - be sure to were something on your feet.At least the hot tub worked! Beds were a bit soft for all 5 of us, but we all preper a firmernight sleep.

The cabin was very cozy, plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. We especially liked sitting on both decks looking through the woods & just relaxing. Our view wasn’t obstructed by other cabins which was nice. We were lucky enough to have seen a few deer passing through. Liked the set up of bedrooms to bathroom areas & living space. Everything flowed making conversations easy no matter where you sat even at the large dinning room table. Nice touch of TV’s in every room!

It was very convenient to the event that we were attending. There are a few concerns/issues that we felt need to be addressed. Hand rail needed at outdoor steps to parking area, washer needs setting knobs replaced, vent hood knobs need replacing, light bulb replacement over sink in kitchen, and warning of VERY steep stairs to basement.

The host was quick to respond. The cabin could use a deep cleaning, replace linen, update the interior and clean up around the exterior. We were afraid to use the hot tub because the odor was so bad. The photos were deceiving.

Space was cozy but needed a little deep cleaning

There was trash in the yard, the sink under the kitchen Leaked, No light in the kitchen you could see to cook with. The chairs on the porch are broken.nothing but sheets on loft beds, dryer does not heat, plus the washer and dryer have rust in them. I have NEVER stayed in a place that has cob webs like this one. In the bedroom down stairs there was someone else earrings on night stand. And the bathroom upstairs had a steady stream of water running all the time. Cleaning people DID NOT CLEAN. I WAS NOT PLEASED AT ALL.

The area was absolutely beautiful and we had plenty of room in the cabin! We'll definitely visit Blue Ridge again!

The cabin was perfect size for our group however the super steep stairs to the lower level where 2 of the bedrooms and 1 of bath were located was pretty scary for 4 senior ladies. One word to me for this cabin is tired. There were some easy fixes to the dark interior like putting light bulb in the small hallway sconces on upper level. Bathroom towels seemed older and worn. Hot tub wasn't super dirty but we didn't use it because it didn't look super clean either. We could not get the water hot in the upper level bathroom, wasn't a problem in the lower level. The last 0.5 miles to the cabin was gravel so pretty bumpy, but to be expected in this area. Host responded quickly and gave us early check in which was appreciated!

We enjoyed our stay.

Check in was easy able to come a little early, which was nice! Kitchen very dark and small. Pictures a little deceiving, not actual representation of cabin overall. Drive to cabin a little adventurous. No Mountain View’s. House overall needs some tidying up. Dripping shower was annoying, several small things that could be fixed in a day easily.

Great property. Quiet and secluded. Host was amazing with communication. Property was clean and spacious. Love the large kitchen table as it gave everyone room to spread out.

The cabin was OK but not what was advertised. There was trash spread all over the back porch, in the woods right below the porch, and at the steps on the first level porch. There was no soap or shampoo as advertised. There was also trash under the beds in the basement bedrooms. The cleanliness really needs to improve!

Host was very accommodating. Rustic and quiet location.

Was a good trip. A few minor inconveniences but nothing that was the fault of the home owner.

Our stay was for a week. We got to blue ridge about 7ish. It had snowed. We got to our road and we could no longer make it up the hill. We were .5 mile from the cabin. We had to get a hotel for the night. We messaged Andi and she IMMEDIATELY gave us a plan B. The new cabin had everything we loved about the inital cabin and

My stay was very peaceful and enjoyable as I expected house was clean , hot tub was big , house has all the things you would need , Walmart 15 min away and host was very responsive and helpful , 10/10

This charming and cozy home is ideally located with easy access to numerous amenities. It offers a wonderful foundation but could benefit from some major upgrades to enhance its appeal. Updated photos would also showcase its potential beautifully.

We loved every minute of our trip. I was very impressed with the cottage. It was very cozy and charming.

We had a great time. The cabin was perfect. The owner was very responsive.

We had the best stay for our 25th Anniversary. Owner was responsive and made sure we had all our information. Great location it was so convenient to all of the fun things to do in the area. The cabin has a beautiful view. We will be booking again.

The property was great. There were a few things amiss but I'm sure the host will take care of them.

The house smelled bad thank goodness I brought a candle, cabin was dusty , rug needed vacuuming, 2 broken dinning chairs, hood over stove could use light as nob was missing , could not control volume on tv in living room, could not watch anything on tv in bedroom downstairs without signing into an app., stairs to downstairs very steep, towels and sheets stained, on the bright side the beds were comfortable.living room furniture was comfortable. Nice that there was a icemaker in kitchen.Enjoyed the screened porch Check in was simple. Owner very quick to respond to question.With a little cleaning and some repairs it could be a really nice cabin

Took my best friend for a girls trip for her birthday. Unfortunately, the cabin was not as expected. It was nice, but needed attention. Cleanliness was not good. Found a washer full of wet towels and a dryer full of wet sheets, but we took care of them. Fairly sure one of the beds was not remade from the previous guests. I looked under the kitchen sink and there was a mess, old, moldy beach towel, lots of empty plastic bags, and a dead mouse in a glue trap. I understand when you’re in the woods you will have an occasional rodent, but this guy was decomposing. Clearly this area had not been cleaned in a while. Every bit of bedding smelled musty. After getting things cleaned up, it was raining so we decided to light the fireplace and watch some TV. Fireplace would not light. Television remotes all had dead batteries. I ended up downloading one to my phone so we could operate the TV. On the positive, the host Andrea was very responsive and tried to assist the best she could. She even offered to bring batteries but the weather was bad and I told her it was not necessary. I did asked for the cleaning fee to be refunded and she made that happen. As a side note, the house appears to be a short distance from the main road; however it is not. The road was steep in places and only one lane. Because of the weather there were some washouts. I had an SUV so we managed, but just wanted folks to be aware. I wouldn’t drive it at night. Won’t stay here again.

Great communication throughout our stay. it is definitely a nice place to stay at to relax, with a beautiful view. it is close to a lot of things to do during your stay.
