Amy's Mink is a great opportunity to disconnect from life's fast pace and reconnect with yourself and your family. It's right on the lake, with a private boat ramp and a short pier for your use. The cabin's a rustic place, nothing fancy, built out of a picnic shelter by my great-grandfather and brought up-to-date by my uncle. Stayed Apr 1, 2026I throughly enjoyed my stay. Tranquility greeted me at the door. I was in need of a getaway that included fishing and I received what I needed from this home. Host communication was great. Home is well stocked with daily essentials.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025If you want a quaint place to get away and relax, this cabin is perfect. We only had time to stay one night but I would definitely go back and stay longer. The queen bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby.

Stayed Jun 5, 2025The place is very simple, rugged living. Love the old vibe. Needs some cleaning and yard work done. The yard became very muddy after a storm and we lost power for about 6 hours. We didn’t catch any fish on the dock but the view from the porch and dock was very nice.

Stayed Oct 22, 2024Amy's Mink Cabin is one of the most restful places we have ever been. My husband and I basically lived on the porch overlooking Lake Greenwood for three days. We read books, watched the sun make diamond patterns of light on the water, listened to the geese and other birds, saw the sunrise and sunset, and were greeted daily by a cute little lizard that roamed the edges of the porch. The cabin itself was simple and perfect for our low key vacation. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen (although we mostly snacked), and relaxing places to sit and chat. Ramy is a perfect host and answered all our questions quickly and with a welcoming spirit. This place will revive your body and soul. Enjoy!

Stayed Sep 26, 2024The unit looked absolutely amazing. Ramy is an amazing host who communicated with us throughout the process. Unfortunately due to the weather and circumstances in the area, this trip was cancelled after the first night. The neighbors we met were very friendly and helpful. We hope to try and visit again when the situation allows. Would recommend the unit to couples and small families.
