We had a fantastic stay here at this creekside cabin. Mike was a great communicator. The cabin was clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a peaceful stay. The front porch, back deck and creekside sitting platform were all wonderful. The interior is so inviting and comfortable.

This is our 3rd year in this cabin and we loved the location. Mike is a great host, we love it and can’t wait to come back. Centrally located to all the top attractions and the home is clean and well maintained.

Our family loved the cabin and the property. Everything was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. Mike was very responsive and helpful.

This was a fabulous cabin equipped everything needed! Mike was absolutely amazing! He checked on us during our drive up from the Pensacola area and when he learned we were coming in late, the lights were on and the temperature cozy. When we experienced the rare snow storm, he checked on us to make sure we were okay. The roads would have been scary but we both grew-up in Idaho. Loved seeing the deer & walking up that steep hillside above the cabin! Highly recommend this cabin for a secluded and peaceful get-away!!!

Mike was very helpful and welcoming, we found everything we needed for a peaceful retreat. The location was convenient and secure, very private.

We stayed 4 nights during the fall leaves peak and had a glorious time. The property owner is nearby, and even though we didn’t have any issues, he was very attentive. Gated community and scenic drive to the house added to the exceptional experience. We enjoyed watching the deer from the windows. The house is cozy and has all the amenities needed for a home away from home. Love the area and can’t wait to visit again!

This little cabin is perfect for a secluded, peaceful getaway. Nobody around, yet close enough to shopping, eating, hiking, and recreation. Mike was an absolute delight to work with. We will be back.

Host was very pleasant to communicate with. Very close to all major cities; banner elk, boone, and linville. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mike’s cozy cabin! It has everything you need! We loved the fireplace and the patio and how private and quiet it is. The only feedback I have is that upstairs mattress is a little firm (not a big deal) and there were some cobwebs here and there that could be cleaned up (again, not a big deal). Overall we were very happy here and will absolutely stay again!!

Nice place in the woods but only 2 miles off the main road. It seems like you are remote but not really. Wifi works well as does tv. Close to Banner elk and grandfather. No ice maker so may need to bring a bag of ice. Beds and linens are very good. Ample sitting area.

Absolutely love the property. All you can hear is the sound of the running creek. The trees are beautiful and the air smells so clean!

The cabin itself is in a nice private area! We really enjoyed the quiet and private neighborhood. There was NO AC and we found the cabin hotter than outside so it was a little rough with the summer heat. There are lots of fans that are provided in the cabin though! Mike was an awesome host! Very responsive and helped give me some excursions recommendations! Would come back if it’s cooler outside!

This was our 2nd stay at this cabin and we definitely will return! Comfortable and quiet. Peaceful setting, remote yet easy drive to Linville and Banner Elk. Host Mike makes the checkin/checkout a breeze. And he responds quickly to questions and requests.

First things first, the host is absolutely amazing. Communication was excellent, gave tips on the area, always made sure we had what we needed and one of the easiest check out requirements we've had. The pictures do not do the place justice. The setting is amazing and the living room area is just spectacular. I am BIG on value and this smashed it.Location... It is about 25 minutes from Boone and about 25 minutes from Banner Elk and you guessed it, 25 minutes from Blocking Rock. HIGHLY suggest visiting all of them.Would book again and highly recommended. Book with confidence.

Fantastic getaway! My husband and I stayed here with friends over 4th of July and we couldn't be happier. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked. The property is big and quiet - without a neighbor in site. We loved sitting out on the back deck relaxing, chatting, eating, and playing games. Property manager is VERY responsive and incredibly helpful. Location is super close to Boone, Banner Elk, Skiing, and Blowing Rock. Something for everyone!

We had a great time at the property. Secluded and perfect for us. Nice days and cool nights. Communication with owner was great and property was well stocked with what we needed. Would live in a place like this if I could.

Cabin/location/ service met and exceeded expectations. Wil definitely return if we are back this way.

Peaceful and serene

We had the best time! The cabin is very secluded, but it isn’t hard to locate. The hosts were so gracious with us and our dogs, everyone felt included and welcome.

Beautiful setting in the woods with a lovely stream giving a wonderful feeling of solitude. The cabin was a good fit for our adult group of 4 with plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. We had only a short stay to visit family in Boone but would happily book a longer stay! Owner was very easy to communicate with and quite responsive, highly recommend!

Quaint cabin nestled in the woods - no neighbors was nice. The host was very communicative and responsive.

My wife and sons stayed here for the weekend. Getting there is pretty easy, just follow your gps. If you’re old school, the host will give you directions. The house is up a winding mountain road and is quite steep at times. But it is paved so most vehicles shouldn’t have problems with it. On arrival we were mesmerized by the privacy and true mountain log cabin feel. It was exactly as advertised. We explored the property and my wife’s favorite spot was on the deck by the stream. I enjoyed nightly strolls down the long driveway with nothing but nature silence and my own thoughts. There’s fire wood for the fireplace or wood stove. Do yourself a favor and bring a starter log for an easy start. Oh and crack one window for ventilation. The house had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals and we all slept comfortably. The location is convenient to many popular attractions too. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway this is it!

We came here to get away of the daily urban life. We found exactly what we needed, a place so peaceful that you can hear only your own thoughts! Is very easy to find, yet so well hidden from the world. Thank you Michael for being so accommodating and welcoming.

This is our third stay at this property. We very much enjoy the serenity of the mountains and the location of this property makes us feel like we are the only ones around. Yet, it takes us only a few minutes to be in the heart of town - Banner Elk or Boone. The amenities are all provided and our family enjoyed relaxing, playing games, putting together a puzzle and exploring the property. We found a sweet church for Christmas Eve Services and had a rib roast for dinner made in the oven at the property! Thank you Mike for everything and we can't wait to come back in December of 2025.

Cabin is great with nice, quiet location. Recommend 4WD/AWD in winter to access. Host was so helpful and communication was timely and accurate. Will certainly return with 4WD!

This cozy cabin was easily accessible and in a very beautiful, serene setting. It has all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Mike, the host, was very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return for another visit soon.

We loved this cute little cabin. It’s was cozy and just we were looking for. We had a weekend to ourselves and our dogs and it was wonderful, we will be back. Cabin was clean and checking was very easy.

The cabin is nice and very well appointed and the surrounding property is astounding, especially if you are looking for a bit of quiet seclusion. Mike is a first class host. All of the instructions are clear and complete. Creekside is my first choice for a mountain getaway.

Remote but yet close to attractions, shopping, restaraunts which was exactly what we wanted. Cabin was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Bed was firmer than what we are accustomed to but everyone has a personal preference. Host (Mike) was very helpful and everything was as described.
