There were no pillows or blankets. The heat did not work. There were many beds, none comfortable. It was so bad we left and paid for a night somewhere else. I was incredibly disappointed.
This nice little place offers beautiful views all around! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the scenery and having a break from society. Thank you so much everyone at Snake River Rendezvous!!
Not realy senior friendly Cleaning and broken toilet bad But over all not bad for the price Loved the view and Deer
We made our reservation on October 14th to stay on October 28-30th. Our account was debited the full amount for the cabin on October 15th. We drove 12 hours from southeast Idaho to watch my step son run state cross country. When we arrived, we knocked on the managers cabin like we were instructed in our email. They seemed shocked to see anyone. When we told them we needed to check in, they were not aware of any reservations. Panick set in because it was later in the evening and we were exhausted and stressed and would have to drive back into Lewiston in hopes that there was somewhere for us to stay. Thankfully there was one cabin to accommodate us but it was not ready for any guests. It was filthy (hair still in drain in shower, dirt and bugs everywhere, outside of toilet disgusting, etc) and the breaker hadn't been turned on so the heat wasn't on, fridge wasn't cooled, etc. The managers were so kind and did their best but the owners showed complete disorganization and unprofessionalism. 10/10 would not recommend.
A great place to stay as a family with a dog while we got our son settled in the dorm at LC State. A bit of a trip from Lewiston but we planned our trips and it worked well for us
I had originally asked how far of a drive was it from the VRBO rental and Lewis and Clark College in Lewiston. I was told about a 20 minute drive. We had to make the drive nine times during our stay. Each drive was between 45 minutes and an hour one way. Would have never rented it had we known. The plase was nice but no kitchen or picknick tables to eat on.
No alcohol or tobacco allowed on the premises. Make sure to read the fine print. Lots of detail cleaning is listed on the rules in the cabin. But not to be harsh, but there were UFOs, dried up and crispy in the window tracks. A bit of attention to these simple details would go a long way in making this more 4 star. Overall it was what we needed, shower kitchen bed to spend the night along our trek home.
Was glad to have found this property and rental on the Snake River. Very clean property. Cabin was pretty clean but very basic. It was perfect for a few days. It has 6 twin beds upstairs but seriously I don't know how that would work since there is only a futon downstairs and a counter with stools but no dining table. Like I said...very basic but doable and in such a gorgeous setting. The stars at night were awesome
Property owners forgot to relay our stay to managers, but they accommodated us non the less.
It was good for a camping experience, it was quiet and nice views gorgeous drive. But there is ZERO reception at the cabin. The managers were weird and literally watched us through their blinds, they are always at their cabin. They checked on us in the mornings usually if we were outside (which we were often for our dogs) but it felt more nosey than caring, they constantly watched us through their blinds it made us uncomfortable.
Location is beautiful and Managers kind. Needs a little upkeep, but I'm sure that was only due to it having been winterized and not having been used in a while due to Covid.
