The property was very clean and we couldn't ask for a better property manager. There are 2 cabins, one is on a higher ground than the other but both are good stays.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The screened-in porch was nice, but we didn't use it when we were there due to weather and time constraints. The lamp didn't turn on, nor did the tree lights. Both would've been nice touches for the porch. Nothing is provided as far as real amenities. Coffee pods, yes. One bar of soap in the bathroom. No shampoo or conditioner. No complimentary snacks or water bottles. I just find these additional things add something to the stay. We did not use the fireplace. I'm sure it would have added coziness, but it was too warm. The Internet runs slowly and causes some issues with streaming services. The cabin is in a good location in Chatsworth. It is about 17 miles from Dalton. Overall, the cabin was a nice place to stay.

Great place to stay. We mainly had events planned in Dalton but wanted to stay somewhere different. Sitting on the porch at night listening to the water flowing down the river was great. Cabin was well kept, and just like the pictures. We enjoyed the only sounds being from nature,

12/23-12/30/25. Host was welcoming. Good directions to the cabin (Bridge was out). Beautiful location in the woods! Very convenient location for site seeing, museums, hiking trails and history of area. Had toddlers with us (3, 5) and they clearly had fun. Was well stocked.Highly recommend this place for a cozy and convenient stay. We'll definitely be back!

I enjoyed my stay at Emerson’s cabin. It was located in a peaceful and secluded location with plenty of hiking trails and nature to see. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and relaxation and we only left once to get some apples to take home. If you are looking for a quiet stay with plenty of flora and fauna, you should check out this cabin.

What a cool property! I was looking for a getaway for the weekend for my sons, one who rides mountains bikes competitively. I chose this spot bc of the access to mtb trails, but he suffered a spinal injury the week before so this ended up being the perfect serene place to recover. Beautiful place that allowed us time in nature with the ability to do short hikes on the property with his limited mobility. Everything we needed was there. The perfect weekend escape! We plan to come back when he can ride again!

Everything was fantastic. LOVE the area and the cabin/grounds. The only thing negative I would say is the water has a super strong sulphur order, so strong that we had to go and buy bottled water. The other minor question was the mini split AC units. I saw one remote that definitely controlled the queen bedroom but wasn't sure if it controlled the other two units or not. It didn't seem to. Some guidance on those would be helpful for future guests/visits unless I just completely missed that in the instructions - and I could have.Again, overall we LOVED it and plan to be back!!

We had an amazing weekend getaway. The cabin was very clean, warm and inviting. Host has stocked the cabin with everything we possibly needed. Our kids spent the days playing in the creek and exploring the trails. Their favorite part was the cave with the company, and watchful eye, of Miss Maggie. Great place to disconnect and relax.

Had the most relaxing time at this cabin. Beautifully decorated and appointed, the cabin with its porches was so peaceful, we gave up a day of exploring and just enjoyed staying on the property. The sound of the creek and the spring green of all the trees and plants along the hikes right on the premises were fun to explore. Carters Lake, Ft. Mountain and Cohutta Wilderness are all a short and scenic ride away. Highly recommend this property for a great getaway!

This cabin is absolutely perfect! My eighty-three yr old mom and I came to get away for several days to spend some peaceful time together. Every little detail of the cabin was so thought out! It was super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, sitting on the screened porch while listening to the bubbling stream, and seeing all the beautiful fall leaves. We had such a nice time telling old stories and making new memories! We would definitely visit here again!

We absolutely loved Emerson's cabin and its surroundings. We played in the creek daily with Maggie and enjoyed S'mores by the fire pit in the evenings. The weather was perfect for adventure. With that being said the wifi and television streaming is almost non existent for good reason you want to be out doing things, so having a better selection of games on hand would have been nice for something to pass the time in the evenings, etc. Everything was wonderful and we would for sure stay again.
