We loved our stay in this cute skoolie! The setting was peaceful and relaxing, and evenings by the fire pit were a highlight. The hosts were wonderful and even brought extra firewood. Such a fun and memorable getaway!

No heat working - freezing!

Skoolie was the perfect long weekend getaway. Close to all attractions from the state parks to the adorable town no more than 10 minutes away. Highly recommend and would come back for another long weekend

This place was awesome and the view was awesome. We enjoyed the coziness of the bus and the fire pit with seating area. The owners are very quick to remind and update you with the status of my stay. We can’t wait to come back and visit another venue from you.

Quirky little cute place. It was very clean and the couch was super comfortable. A/C works really well. Loved the fire pit outside, we used it daily.

My husband and I stayed one night in the Gypsy Skoolie for our anniversary. It was a fun and unique experience. The school bus was very clean and comfortable. It was cutely decorated. We enjoyed the quiet, rural location. We have already recommended it to several friends!

It was cozy, clean, unique, and the perfect place for me. Loved the fire pit. I would definitely recommend.

First, the bus was very modern with lots of updates. Management thought about EVERYTHING! There was extra linen, blankets, coffee, coffee filters, etc. Toilet is camper style so it’s in the shower. However it’s not that bad, the shower is finished off with herringbone style tiling. The only issues we had was that it had been raining previously and the road was red clay so it was messy on our truck. The AC works well too. I was rather cold at different times. I would definitely come back again.

Very cute and secluded. Short drive to south Syllamore creek, town square and Blanchard springs. Very roomy for a school bus. If I had a bus I would renovate it the same way!!! Host is very pleasant and quick to reply and assist with requests. We will be staying with Fireside at other locations for sure!

This little bus was even cuter than described! Very clean, and comfortable. The area is peaceful and quiet. The only thing I’d say is that it’s a stretch to say it sleeps 4. There were only 2 of us and we slept very comfortably. I’d say 3 would be okay as long as they’re relatively small and at least 2 are comfortable sharing a full size bed. It was perfect for us.

This was a very pleasant place to stay. Me and my girlfriend wished we stayed a couple nights longer.

We came for a short weekend trip bc I thought staying here would be super unique and a great core memory. It was unique. It’s clean and very comfortable. Due to the small space, the toilet is situated in the shower itself. We knew this before we went so we all took a long shower before and after this trip. The bed is very comfortable. The fire pit is nice. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and driving home bc a really bad smell was circulating from the very back of the bus. It didn’t seem to be coming from the toilet but we sensed it most coming from the heater. I am sure the host, having a long history of great reviews will investigate and correct whatever is causing this. It smelled like a rotten Easter egg.

The Skoolie was just what I expected from the listing and my family loved it. Very unique and well done conversion. Fully stocked with necessities and some great amenities (tv, internet, toaster oven). Comfortable bed.

I had a wonderful time and this place was perfect for what I wanted. A quiet spot to be alone with fireflies. I sat out near the fire pit and just listened to the cicadas and watched the woods light up with fireflies. Really, that is what I was hoping for and the spot delivered. The interior of Skoolie is comfortable and cosy and cool even when it is blazing hot outside. The surrounding area is quite and sleeping was undisturbed. In the morning I was able to do a 2 mile walk along the loop road. Deer and fawns were out as where rabbits and squirrels. The kitchen is very well equipped. I didn’t cook anything beyond a microwave and toaster, but there are plenty of utensils, measuring cups, and pans for doing a bit of cooking. Refrigerator is small, but the little freezer kept my frozen foods frozen and I was able to freeze a water bottle in it overnight. I would caution anyone who is really tall that I did feel like I might be ramming my head into the ceiling at any moment and I am only 5 feet and some change. I think it is an optical illusion because the windows are lower than your shoulders, but my SO would have felt a bit cramped in this space. However, that said, I could stay a week and be very happy here! Too bad I only had time for the one night.

We absolutely LOVED this little hidden gem.. it had everything we needed, quiet area, firewood provided and close to everything we needed in town. I’m so glad i stumbled upon this perfectly thought out camping bus… you guys outdone yourselves with this!!! Can’t wait to stay again and i have already had SO many friends asking about it. Anyone that stays here will not be disappointed!
