I loved everything about this house ! It was so beautiful and lovely

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Soul. Weather was not great,but the property never let us down. The porch swing is such a relaxing place to watch it rain We also used the charcoal grill and the pavilion with the gas fire pit adding to the ambiance. Also, our dog Rosie had a great time going for walks and investigating. Angela was great with communication and left nothing to chance. We look forward to returning some day.

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The host, Angela, is totally amazing and she really does care about her guests. The pup yard is such an added bonus while the screened in front porch was so relaxing during the thunderstorms. We have found our future vacation home for many years to come.

My husband and I and our two dogs had the best time at Angela’s property! She provided plenty of directions to ensure that we found the cabin easily. I forgot the door code and when I messaged her, she replied within seconds. The cabin is perfect! Angela had thought of everything we could possibly need or want. It was immaculately clean. There were so many extra thoughtful touches that made our visit special. The experience felt very curated just for us. Favorite things about the cabin: the towel warmer in the bathroom, the heater built into the exhaust fan in the bathroom, and there were blankets and pillows available on all the furniture. We loved the porch swing! We never had to turn on the air-conditioning because the weather was so perfect, but the ceiling fans were great! When we arrived, everything was ready for our dogs. Plenty of bowls, toys, and even plenty of treats! The fenced in area was perfect for the dogs. We never left them alone, but it was great for them to be able to go outside to the bathroom or to play for a while. The property is amazing! It was so peaceful. Having that kind of peace, quiet and privacy was so relaxing. My husband fished from Angela‘s pond every day and the dogs swam and played all over the property multiple times a day. They were definitely living their very best life! We can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing week here at Mountain Soul. Angela is an incredible hostess and the property itself is gorgeous. Extremely pet friendly and peaceful yet not far from hiking, biking, wineries, and other off property diversions. The fenced in dog area with motion and solar lights made our life so easy and all of the extra thoughtful touches made this the most relaxing trip w our pups ever. We will definitely be back.

Angela put so many extra touches into making sure our stay was perfect! She had special treats for my birthday and for my dogs.The priperty was so serene and a little piece of heaven. I would recommend Mountain Soul to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Every year is just fantastic. This year, the weather was warm and I enjoyed the front porch reading, last year, was really cold and I enjoyed the fireplace. Angela has to be one of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She goes above and beyond for your stay. And I can't even begin to describe how dog friendly she is. Bailey and Willow enjoyed their stay as much as I did.

A beautiful and private location. Very pet-friendly. Angela and her team are exceptional and made sure we had everything we needed and all our questions were answered. Kitchen is fully stocked and the cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. We are already our next trip to Mountain Soul!

This was the perfect getaway for us. Way out in the country and QUIET! Very peaceful and relaxing cabin and grounds. The HOST is amazing! Super pet friendly and the pavilion is an outstanding addition. We spent most of our time just sitting and relaxing in the pavilion. This is a definite do-it-again soon place for us! Peaceful, romantic, great fishing. Just what we needed for out 50th anniversary. Hostess was fabulous. She looked after us just like family. She even sent us texts about the weather when it was rainy and windy. Everything could not have been better.

Mountain Soul is a slice of heaven. Off the beaten path and it was so quiet all we heard was nature. The cabin is cozy with a good sized front porch which included a porch swing and Adirondack chairs. Dog friendly with a fenced in dog park and our pup had a blast. It was his first time off leash and he thoroughly enjoyed running around. Perfect place to recharge. Angela is an awesome host and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. We will definitely be back and encourage others to give it a try.

Quiet, secluded, lakefront with swimming and kayaking, early checkin/late checkout times, clean and cozy. Great host always available via text.

Huge shoutout out to Angela, she was the best host we have ever had. The property is beautiful with your own private lake, my husband caught around 20 fish per day and he was a happy camper! We traveled with our two dogs and they loved it. The peace and quiet is wonderful. The cabin is clean and even has a towel warmer. Angela checked with us frequently even when we had a bad storm and lost power, she was on the phone making sure we were okay and knew where flashlights were. Working with Angela is like having a friend and now we are part of her Dancing Dog Farms! Please check her Facebook for pictures of the cabin and surrounding area. We will be back in November! Wonderful place to stay. The cabin was perfect for us and our fur baby. Can't say enough about the place and the host. Even had treats for our fur baby. Peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Always a pleasure to stay here at Mountain Soul. Angie always makes us feel so welcome and even has treats for us and the pup waiting. Easy check in to a clean and comfortable cabin that sits high on a hill overlooking a pond. The attached dog area makes it so easy for those traveling with their furry companions. The cabin has a wonderful heated bathroom with a large shower and wonderful towel warmer and the king bed is very comfortable. There are hills to explore and also a large covered outdoor entertainment area with a gas grill and a smoker and fishing gear. Two kayaks are also near the pond should you decide to go out on the pond. We love coming back each year - we never even turned on the TV this time as we enjoyed the silence and sounds of nature. When vacationing with our pup, this is the only choice for us!

This property was amazing, and the communication with the host was the best I've ever had, hands down! She even offered early check-in and late check-out, which was much appreciated! It's cozy and quaint, with everything a couple and their furry companions could want. The drive in is a little rough, but totally worth it. The single room cabin is super cozy, and it isn't lacking for anything. The covered front porch was a favorite respite, particularly the swing bed with its own heater and lake view. The attached dog yard is big enough for the canine companions to play, and they can access the porch and the dog yard without having to worry about them getting out (although small dogs can pass through the large wire squares). The large covered outdoor kitchen/dining area was a welcome bonus, and we put it to use grilling meals after a day of gallivanting. The property was meticulously maintained, clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay here! I totally see us coming back to stay here again!

Everything was perfect. The cabin was so cozy and the views were gorgeous. It was perfect for the furbaby also. Every little detail was well thought out. Angela was the perfect host. I would highly recommend Mountian Soul. A perfect getaway!!

We're 8 years in using a variety of vacation rentals; categorically, unequivocally, the best value to be had in this size; the most considerate and immediately available host; and the most attention to detail of ANY property of our experience. And the SETTING... you're hillside, in an adorable and well-crafted cabin, with a legacy of livestock and livestock folk; stone quiet; Angela the host is ever-present by phone but has thought of everything. There's a huge outdoor pavilion and you're overlooking a pond, full of Canadian geese. We're coming back; that settles it for us.

Perfect place to relax and unwind. Snow was so pretty. Dogs loved to be able to run and explore. Everything was perfect!!

Driving up to Mountain Soul set my soul at ease. This cabin has everything you need. Angela is incredible to work with also! This is my go to when visiting North GA.

We just returned from the most incredible stay at this VRBO property, and I can confidently say it was the best experience we've ever had! The place is even more beautiful and thoughtfully designed than described in the listing. Every detail was meticulously attended to, from the cozy decor to the well-stocked kitchen and linens. It truly felt like a home away from home.What really set this stay apart, though, was the owner. Her communication was absolutely top-notch—she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was perfect. It was clear that she genuinely cares about her guests and takes great pride in her property. She was always available to answer questions and offered thoughtful recommendations for things to do in the area.We honestly feel like we’ve made a friend through this experience. It’s rare to encounter such a thoughtful, attentive, and kind host. We can't recommend this property enough—if you're considering a stay here, don’t hesitate. It will exceed all your expectations!Oh, and if you are thinking of bringing your pup, DO IT! Angela inlcuded them in everything and Ellijay is super pup friendly.

This was our 2nd stay at Mountain Soul...fell in love with this cabin in the North Georgia Mountains. The host is absolutely wonderful to work with, open lines of communication, check-in and out times are favorable for travelers, immaculately clean, fully stocked kitchen, there is even a towel warmer in the bathroom. All the nice-warm-fuzzy comforts seen in Hallmark Movies. And to top it all off...our dogs loved all the extras provided with the pups in mind and the mini dog park accessed directly from the porch was so convenient. Excellent WiFi. With use of the Waze app, very easy to navigate.The view of the pond with a lighthouse in the center is so charming. Cool mornings with hot coffee on the swinging bed on the porch was exactly the re-charge that we needed. Downtown Ellijay and the local wineries offer some day trip ideas, but truthfully, really no reason to leave the cabin. Been renting from VRBO essentially since it's inception and this property is by far top of my list!

What a wonderful little cabin. If your looking for nature, relaxation, aand a place to get away from it all this is it. My sister and I recently stayed here and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Only things you need to bring are your clothes, food and your personal items. Our host Angela and the cabin caretakers go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and then some plus Angela does keep in touch with you in case theres any questions or issues. Will definitely come back for another stay.

Angela has been the best host ever. Very thoughtful and generous. My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary weekend with the pups. Brought our bikes and rode around the property. The mountain and lake view is amazing especially with the leaves changing. So peaceful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

This place is so peaceful, serene and the view is amazing and beautiful. The cabin is situated at the top of a small hill overlooking a gorgeous pond with a small lighthouse. The front porch has a spacious swing that is super comfy. The sounds of nature are the only sounds we heard other than ourselves speaking. No traffic, just Mother Nature in all her glory. The lighted pavilion is a great outdoor space with lots of cooking grills , fire pit, picnic tables, fishing poles, tackle box and cornhole boards. There are 2,kayaks The cabin was well stocked with the basics. Angela is a very attentive host and defines the term “ superhost” . I can honestly say that out of all the places we have stayed at, she has been the most attentive host ever . If I could give Mountain Soul 100 stars- I would. I will definitely return. If your soul needs a recharge- this is it!
