Great cabin close enough to everything Banner Elk has to offer but far enough away to recharge. Will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin itself, but I want to be honest about the communication experience with the host. The host was quite firm and inflexible regarding check-in and check-out times, which we understand are often set policies. However, the tone in the messages felt somewhat abrupt and lacked warmth, which made the process more stressful than necessary—especially since we were traveling with a baby and hoping for a little flexibility.There was also confusion about the payment status. The host repeatedly mentioned that payment had not been received, even though we had already paid through VRBO. I had to contact VRBO myself to confirm the payment and clarify the situation. This created some unnecessary tension right before our arrival.Overall, the cabin met our needs, but clearer and more considerate communication from the host would have made the stay more comfortable.

The host accommodated me last minute and was very helpful getting the house ready and allowing us an early check in. The cabin is cute and has EVERYTHING you need, including a sauna which was a bonus.

Great cabin. Scary to get in and out of driveway (ha), but everything was great.

So clean and beautiful!! The kitchen was well-stocked! Decorated beautifully and such a warm welcoming feeling throughout the house.

The place was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would need for cooking family meals. Plenty of room for 6 and very convenient to Beech Mountain.

We spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful cabin and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!!

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. The views from the hot tub/deck, the all winter porch, the living room, and pretty much any room on the Mountain View side of the home had spectacular views. I think the pictures do not display justice as to how beautiful the views are. The steps are curved and steep, some of the ceilings are Low or angled but we really enjoyed the home. Just a heads up there are no curtains or blinds in the master, privacy is not an issue but the sun does come right in.

We enjoyed our escape from the boiling temperatures in Columbia, SC. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we look forward to staying here again.

This house is amazing, a combination of old and new. The location can not be beat. It is well stocked for cooking or close to lots of eateries. We enjoyed the quiet and private location.
