Elegant Mountain Lodge with Beautiful Sunsets

Great house.

We enjoyed Diamond Creek so much. We had our grown children and their children for a family vacation. It was so great. There was plenty of room and lots of fun without needing to go into town. Everyone had a blast!

This house was just perfect for my family (with young adult children) to meet up for a summer vacation. The house had everything we needed and was spotless! While there were plenty of things to do in the area, we also enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying the house, cooking meals, playing pool, making smores and enjoying the views and nature! It is an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock for dinner. Banner Elk is not far but the roads are a bit scarier at night.

Perfect property for a couple of large families full of teenagers. Lots of room to spread out. Easy to get in and out of Boone.

First time in NC and at this Lodge. It was just perfect and we couldn't find anything that we needed that wasn't on hand. Top notch from the kitchen to the outside patio. We could not have asked for more except to be able to stay longer We will highly recommend this place

I can’t begin to explain how fabulous this home truly is- from The creek as you walk into the house, to the surrounding porch with tons of rocking chairs , to the most gorgeous views, and you haven’t even gone inside yet - you walk in to a super high ceiling open concept living , dining, kitchen ( we had Thanksgiving here for 11 people and we all fit at the gorgeous long wood table,- the kitchen fully equipped / even had a meat thermometer! Next you go upstairs where there is a sitting room with majestic views with a desk and sleep away couch and game table for 4 , fully stocked with checkers, poker, jenga, a library and other games , two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms complete the upstairs then as if all this wasn’t enough there is a lower level that is a living room , a bar and a pool table , two more rooms with a shared bathroom and the living Room with access outdoors to the playground and hot tub - The house is decorated upscale cabin and should be in a magazine of how beautifully done it all is ! The owners were amazing and the check in process super easy - We were here 5 days - 4 nights I had plans for everyday but I can tell you we literally never left the house there was so much to do that you didn’t need to leave !!! We were a group of 5 most nights but 11 people during the day ( my brother lives nearby so he stayed at his home at night) and there was truly never a dull moment - this was the most amazing place to stay with gorgeous views ! When we drove up it was getting to dusk and we said Omg we hope it’s that house at the top of the mountain at it was !!! Truly breathtaking !!
