Stayed Oct 17, 2025We had a wonderful weekend stay at Edgewater Escape Cabin in Hocking Hills! The cabin itself was unique and full of character, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely stunning. The location couldn’t have been more perfect — close enough to all the main attractions yet peaceful and private enough to really relax.Everything was spotless, from the cozy living spaces to the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking. The attention to cleanliness and detail really stood out.Our only small complaint was that the beds weren’t very comfortable, but everything else about the stay more than made up for it. Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely come back for another getaway! Thank you!

Stayed Jul 29, 2024Our family stayed here for 2 nights and it wasn't long enough. We enjoyed the property so much. The cabin had everything we needed. The swimming lake is a short walk away and clean. The owners were very responsive when we messaged them. Will stay again!

Stayed Apr 3, 2024Property was clean, fully stocked with necessities/amenities and perfect size for family. Very cute cabin with a hot tub on deck overlooking the pond. Property manager was great with communication. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Stayed Sep 29, 2023This was the perfect place for our Hocking Hills weekend getaway. We could get to all the major sites in about 20 minutes. The hot tub was an added bonus and we enjoyed using it in the evening after hiking all day.

Stayed Oct 6, 2023We enjoyed our stay - group of five adult women for a ‘girls getaway’. Directions and communication was great. Info in the cabin was accurate - though I think the name of the Wi-Fi in the book was incorrect, but East to figure out. We had no issues while there. View of the pond was very pretty. The cabin was as advertised, descriptions of all the rooms, amenities, etc. were all accurate. It seemed a little smaller than the photos looked and the spiral staircase was functional, though narrow. The deck is mostly hot tub (which was great!) so no real seating outside except down by the firepit. I’d stay there again, but maybe with a smaller group. Thanks for hosting us!
