Healy, Alaska
EarthSong Lodge provides an opportunity for Denali Park visitors to have a unique, authentic place to stay overnight while visiting the National Park. Located four miles out Stampede Road (from "Into The Wild" fame), EarthSong is above treeline on open tundra, with unobstructed views of the Alaska Range. It's the perfect spot for guests who wish for a quiet, spectacular place to sleep, and have accommodations that are more than just a bed and bathroom. Log cabins are well-apportioned and have modern conveniences, spaced for privacy. On-site guests can enjoy some extra amenities, such as our coffeehouse, evening slide presentations, and our very popular daily sled dog kennel tours where you can see some of the dogs that we use to guide guests deep into the park in the winter months. EarthSong is for the visitor that wants just a bit more from their visit.
Two-Room cabins have two rooms, one double bed in each room, and are perfect for groups that need more than one bed. Separate rooms allow this cabin to be possible for couples traveling together, but there is limited space and privacy for four adults. Each cabin has bathroom with modern facilities, individual hot water heater, nice towels, extra pillows, and more to make your stay comfortable. Cabins are also insulated and heated for the cooler nights. All cabins have either private or shared porches. While there are no cooking facilities in the cabins, there is a shared kiosk where guests have access to fridge and microwave. Most cabins are log, all hand-built and unique, and have nice mix of authentic and comfort, with a high level of cleanliness. Daily service available.
It's worth going an extra few miles off the main road to stay in one of the cabins. Breakfast options are provided whereas you need to go to Healy for dinner. Great place to stay to avoid the more crowded options around Denali.
The cabin was so cute and met are needs perfectly! The beds were comfortable and the entire cabin was clean and well maintained. I loved the area and we were close to Denali. Try h red host answered quickly when I text him. No refrigerator or microwave in the room but we had access to one in the shared Skye hut.
Two couples stayed here for just one night, but it was adequate for us. The next day the owner gave us a nice presentation about her dogs and how they are used in Alaska. Very informative.
Loved every second of this trip! The property is adorable and the cabins are perfect! My husband and I stayed with his brother in a 2 bedroom and it was perfect. The coffee shop and dog meet and greet were fun perks. I said it there and I’ll say it here, Stampede road is the BEST road in Alaska! We even saw Denali when we went to 8 mile lake!
Lovely lodge and cabins
We enjoyed our cabin here at EarthSong. Comfy and cozy cabins with everything you need. Feels odd the grid—in a good way! Excellent communication with the staff. I was worried the office would be closed as we came in after 9pm. But it was the easiest check in!! Highly recommend.
The listing seems too good to be true—but it’s even BETTER than described! Cozy, clean, and so peaceful in the country these little cottages are a MUST-STAY while you’re in Healy/visiting Denali! On the same property is a stellar little coffee shop, there’s wildlife right out your front door, and it’s the best sleep you’ll get your entire trip! Book this place now!
Staying at Earthsong was one of the highlights of our trip. The sled dog kennel tour was absolute heaven! Courtney is so friendly and helpful. We very much appreciated the sack dinners to take with be us during our Denali tour, and the coffee is wonderful. Cabins are roomy and well appointed.
Small, but adequate. Clean and Comfortable. Shower quite large with good water pressure. Should know: WiFi not work in cabins. The whole place is very cute and matches its name: Earth Song. I would recommend this place and I would go there again!
The cabin was VERY clean, with comfortable beds and plentiful towels in a sparkling bathroom. Unfortunately, that about sums up what the cabin included. We were unprepared for not having basic amenities such as a microwave or mini-fridge in our room. While there was shared access to both, we ate off of our laps because there was no table. Besides the beds, the only sitting space was a small loveseat. There were shared outdoor spaces but since it was raining whist we were there, these weren’t helpful. The property listing should be more forthcoming about things one takes for granted (e.g. table) so we could have prepared better.
Ok secluded location
Very good
Uniquely cute and cozy cabin in a very quiet and relaxing location, just what we wanted.
No where to sit. All you can do is go to bed. No TV, no table and chairs. No fridge, coffee is in a hut outside. Wouldn't want to stay other than a quick overnight.
I was completely charmed by this adorable community of cabins. Cozy and comfortable and perfect EXCEPT the advertised breakfast coffee shop wasn’t open at all, and there really isn’t anything else up that road. You have to go 4 miles back to Healy to get anything so you will need to plan for that. For what it’s worth, we peeked in the coffeehouse window at the menu and thought it sounded wonderful. Possibly we just missed them…
Very unique and enjoyable! Might need a little caulk between logs. Great property!
