The cottage was very nice. The view if the lake was blocked by the trees. Everything was there that we needed . The host was very accommodating. We had a peaceful week there.

Very nice cottage. I was very comfortable being there by myself. It was a bit chilly during my stay, but other than that I enjoyed the area very much.

Great experience overall. The place was very clean and well kept, which made the stay really comfortable. Kevin was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. The view was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. I would happily stay here again.

We stayed here for one night and wished we booked it for longer. It was so cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Will definitely be coming back.

Kevin was welcoming and so responsive to a few questions and was very thorough in giving us all the details we needed.

Upon arrival the door code we were given didn't work. Had to call the number and get the correct code. The remote for the indoor fireplace didn't work. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights around the tree outside. We couldn't get the outside fireplace to work. There was only about a quarter of a roll of toilet paper in the main bathroom. The parking was super tight for 2 vehicles. The cabin itself was nice enough.

Our stay at this property was brief. The host is communicative and responded to messages promptly. This lake home is nice tho I really missed a homey-warm feeling. It is mostly grey/white minimal decor. The bed was comfy enough, did not prefer microfiber feel of the linens. Lots of fragrance via air freshener things. Mentioning for others with sensory concerns. The instructions about the driveway next door are no joke, don’t go down that! Parking spot is directly above the entrance to the home, positioned at the top of the stairs that lead to the front door. The deck is really nice and was my favorite part of our time here :)

It was the perfect couple get a way

The cabin was awesome, clean and a wonderful location, and very quiet. The only confusion initially was where to park but figured it out quickly. Wonderful hosts, very responsive.

We had a great time during our stay. The place was clean and well taken care of. Great communication. Only issue is that the listing says there is an out door shower and this is no longer present.

The house was beautiful and so peaceful and quiet, was not a bad drive to the Bergen falls and we ate at the cute little restaurant when we came out of there, highly recommend. The beds were comfortable and a lot of extras.

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We loved hanging out on the deck with the fire pit and enjoying the weather. There are tons of windows to enjoy nature even while inside. The kitchen was great for cooking our own meals. It was nice having a washer and dryer after being on the water during the day.

This house was the perfect size for our family of 5. We had our own rooms and beds and with the two bathrooms it was perfect! Much better than a hotel!

This house is great for a quiet stay in the mountains. We had to cancel at the last minute and the owner communicated well and was kind with new arrangements. Will definitely come back!

It is a really poor road to access and has no good parking. Steps are not easy with heavy load. Bugs on the curtains. The place was nice and clean but had a smell of sewage. The register/ vent cover was not the correct size and was not secured to the floor so we almost fell through. Sadly we decided to leave early.

The cabin’s location is rural, but that was exactly what we were looking for. The roads were as described, and driving instructions were accurate. However, it wasn’t ready when we arrived/hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest. Kevin responded quickly and was excellent in resolving this issue (even on a holiday!). Overall, we enjoyed our trip.

My husband & I wanted a fall getaway; Eagles Nest was perfect! Immaculate , Quiet lakeside cabin ; enjoyed the large deck and firepit ; clean, comfortable bed; nice kitchen, fluffy bath towels; I appreciated the extra sink /vanity in the master bedroom; location was a fun & scenic drive ; the path to the lake was steep as discribed, and we did walk down & sat on the dock , but the climb back up to the cabin was a bit much for older folks, Ha! Cookeville is about 30 minutes out & has plenty of restaurants & shopping ; we actually grabbed a to go order from Olive Garden & ate out on the relaxing deck . Kevin was very responsive & helpful throughout our stay ; we’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful, private cottage with everything we needed! We came just to get away for the weekend and to check out the area for family trips. Eveything was comfortable, clean, and perfect! Kevin, the host, was also an excellent communicator. Highly recommend!propertWotocome back!

Clean and well cared for cottage

All the comforts of home, quite a steep incline drive off the mountain to the cabin, as well as short walk to the waters edge, but beautiful!

The check in was extremely easy and host's communication was great. Very clean and comfy all around. I read previous reviews and the trail down to the lake is a hike but what we expected for experienced hikers like us. The location also was not a problem. We plan for everything. All the hiking spots are 15 to 45 minutes away but for sceultions it was great. Cookeville is not but 20 minutes away. The have updated the depot district and the food at seven seas and crawldaddys were awesome. I would recommend this for anyone that loves the outdoors enjoys hikes and enjoys quiet nights.

Spent Sunday - Tuesday here with my family. Had a great time chilling. Swam in the lake and kept the lazy day in a perfect way. My wife and I were in the primary bedroom and adult daughter slept in the spacious loft. It was hot outside (highs on the mid-90s) but cool inside. Definitely recommend.

Parking was a pain, deck needs some work and repairs
