First -- the good. Very clean and spacious. Secluded, as expected. Beautiful outdoor firepit area. Now the not so great -- Very weird location of bathroom 2. All sleeping quarters are upstairs. Sleeps 11 as advertised. One bathroom on that level ! So if you were a family of 5 or 6 or 8 people, imagine the 2nd bathroom being down the stairs, thru the large living room, circling thru the dining area and the kitchen...and just before exiting the back door is the almost hidden, small bathroom 2. We were only 2 married couples, but it felt like a one bathroom house. The other item we found a bit annoying...host living in the basement. Yes...it was noted in the advertisement, but way down the list and not highlighted or specially noted. Having done many VRBOs before, we're used to what the TV ad says get the whole house. Summary - not a bad stay; just be aware of the above.
The cabin was beautiful. A lot of extras that we were not expecting. The veiw was everything we could have wanted. Nice and quiet . The people of duck Creek were friendly . An overall great experience.
The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Owner very responsive. A couple of things to be aware of - the bedrooms are all upstairs, but only one bathroom. The other bathroom is downstairs and the shower may be too small for some. The road to the house is a dirt, winding road and may require a 4 wheel drive although we did not have any trouble. There was too much snow for us to use the firepit (in May), but the view was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay!
Amazing cabin experience. Everything we hoped for. Property owner has a beautiful residence with plenty of extras. Nice and quiet. Couldn't ask for more.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is idyllic, nestled in pine trees on the top of a mountain. Down the mountain and short drive to Bryce, Zion and Kanab about an hour away. Easy to cook and grill. Perfect for our family with a one year old as there was a high chair and some toys in addition to board games.
The property was perfect for our family Holiday -Weekend! The owner is accommodating and easy to communicate. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Overall a great experience beautiful location. Our only complaint would be we had to bring our own firewood.
Everything was perfect and beautiful! We enjoyed our stay so much!
This cabin is beautiful and located in one of the more private locations within Duck Creek. The cabin was beautifully decorated and my wife and I were very impressed with the great use of space within the main living area. There was ample seating in the main living space and outside on the deck for everyone who came. I will book here again. The only suggestion I have is to move one of the queen beds for the massive 3rd bedroom to the smaller bedroom with the bunk beds. We had two sets of adults and it would of been nice if both set of adults could get their own room and all of the kids could of slept together in the massive 3rd bedroom.
Since we walked in the cabin we started enjoying it, everything was amazing, spacious, clean, kitchen has everything you need, just bring your food. Wild life is amazing the dears and turkey walking by, We highly recommend and we will come back. Thank you
It was my second stay at this cabin within 2 months. I absolutely love this place!! This time I took my 2 sisters and a niece, and they all loved it as much as I do. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. It’s cozy, clean, beautifully decorated and is in a gorgeous location, surrounded by the most beautiful pine trees! We saw deer & chipmunks every morning, just outside the fire pit area or outside the large living room windows, just a short distance away. . Beds are very comfortable and sheets/pillow cases were CLEAN (something I’ve learned not to take for granted!). I did have a few questions on our first day, which the owner quickly responded to and answered/resolved. Both owner (Sharla) and property manager (Mary) have been SO kind and welcoming. Mary even contacted me shortly after we left to inform me that I had left a few items behind. We were already quite a ways down the road when I saw the message, so she offered to mail them out to me on Monday. I so appreciate that!! This is my new favorite getaway.. I can’t wait to go back. It’s everything you want in a mountain retreat❤️
The location is wonderful and everything about this home is perfect! Charla’s attention to detail is beyond amazing. It’s comfortable and well equipped and decorated with so much thought and purpose . She’s thought of everything you might need. We will for sure stay again if in the area for a return visit! Thanks Charla!
We throughly enjoyed our stay. So peaceful after long days of hiking and utving. Beautifully decorated, excellent beds and a well equipped kitchen. We would highly recommend this property.
My two friends and I stayed her for just a couple of days. It’s absolutely gorgeous, spotless and incredibly well-stocked. The location was up in the mountains near duck Creek Village. Very private and surrounded by pine trees and nature. We sat out around the fire pit each night and just talked and laughed and enjoyed the moment. Once it was completely dark, the stars popped out and the sky was just incredible. Amazingly, I was actually able to capture photos of the stars on my phone that i will be blowing up and framing. We had daily chipmunks and beautiful deer visitors right on property. Our whole stay at this cabin was just perfect. We all agreed that we will be back. The host was very attentive and couldn't have been nicer. We just LOVED everything about it!!❤️❤️❤️
