Stayed Jan 16, 2026Amenities abound! Decor feel was delightfully tailored and felt like it was my own home. Goodies awaited us in the fridge. Everything you would possibly need was there.

Stayed Oct 8, 2025We absolutely loved staying in the Blue Goode cabin! We were visiting family in Shady Valley nearby. We stayed with our family of 6, four adults and two kids. The cabin is incredibly cozy. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces - rocking chairs on the front porch and fireplace and large dining area on the back porch. We had amazing weather and hiked at nearby parks. This cabin is so well appointed. We normally bring extra toiletries and kitchen essentials with us when staying in a VRBO, but there is no need as this place had everything covered. Extra paper towels, detergents, shampoo, etc were provided. I don’t think anything could have been better. The cabin is very homey and comfortable. We’ll be back if we get the chance! Really also enjoyed the Damascus outfitters and the Appalachian Heritage brewery in town.

Stayed Oct 3, 2025An oasis! Everything about the place was great! Clean, perfect decorating, and welcome. Everything needed was thought of and available. We were close enough to the bike trail and anything needed in town. Loved our stay!

Stayed Jul 4, 2025This charming cabin was perfect for our family on our trip to VA to ride the Creeper. We loved the home's little nooks and rooms, especially the screened-in porch. The house is very cozy and well stocked. It was a comforting place to land after riding and hiking all day.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were so glad to have reserved this cabin. Everything about it was as described and better. So many wonderful places to hang out, amenities galore, loved the bath and a half. We normally don't spend much time in the places we rent, but this was an exception. Being at the end of the street, above Damascus let us experience the best of both worlds. We had wildlife near the back door, bear and a possible bobcat sighting. Lots of birds, which was one thing we were there for. So well stocked, not just your usual bit of coffee and some salt and pepper. The welcome basket and gifts were over the top. We felt at home and that's the best you can ask for on vacation. My only regret is we can come back every couple of months.
