Dragonfly Lodge | Hocking Hills, 5BR, Hot Tub

Spacious cabin, kids loved the yard, swingset, and basement. Great place to stay in Hocking Hills.

Everything was great. We went without water for a few hours but someone came and fixed as soon as they could.

That it was out of the way and I could wake you up seeing deers

It’s was a great stay everything was great and I would stay again it was alot of rooms and the beds was comfortable I loved it and would stay again loved to wake to the deers hot tub was great loved it

Honest review . very nice cabin but they were lined up down the road cookie cutter style couple hundred feet from each other. ( We personally do these trips to get away from people) Windows/doors were all very very drafty. (Winter time stay). Tons and tons of lady bugs. (Landing in our food/drinks) . We had a few issues with utilities. (Example the shower fixtures felt like it was coming off the wall, the rooms were either super hot or super cold, the hot tub wasn't full. (500 word limit)

The house had plenty of room for us to spread out but also loved the openness of the living room and kitchen to eat and play games together.

Had a great family time for Christmas. Lots of space for adults and kids. Love the open area of the kitchen, dining and living room.

Flat yard, swing set and lower level, we had 2 toddlers the lower level was perfect for them.

As a family, we had a nice time together. The cabin, however, could definitely use a facelift and a good cleaning. It was pretty dirty including the hot tub. There was a ladybug infestation. It was bad. New usable utensils would have been nice to have. I realize this is a rental and in the woods but things need to be replaced every now and then. The table was so sticky even after cleaning it. Owners were very responsive as there was a broken window and they agreed to allow early entry by 1 hour to us. I don’t think we would rent this cabin again.

The house was beautiful. Lady bug infestation was a nuisance and there were ants but all in all it was lovely. The only issue I had was having difficulty getting ahold of someone when we were leaving as we couldn’t get the door to lock.

Cabin was very spacious and was well stocked. The kids enjoyed the flat, large front lawn and it was great to have easy access to the fire pit. Parking was a breeze with the level driveway. We had a few issues but they were resolved quickly & professionally.

Liked the open concept of the cabin, the big yard and play set and fire pit.

The property was dated and disappointing. After reading all the 5 star rating I expected more. The kitchen dishes, silverware, and cooking pans were very old. I have never stayed anywhere where they were in such bad condition. The bedding and curtains are all faded and need replaced. The rugs are worn and dirty. No light over microwave and no hot water in the kitchen unless the dishwasher is running. The location to hiking is close. It is definitely not 5 star, more like 2 or 3.

The layout of this cabin has kept us coming back for three years in a row. We like the loft area for the kids ( 5 under 5). It's a place they can be but we can still see them. It's perfectly located and always clean. The beds are comfortable and the basement not too cold. The big front porch is where we keep our coolers and boots we kick off between homes.

Perfect location for a little weekend get-a-way!
