Donner Bliss - Remodeled Lakefront Log Cabin on Donner, 180 Views, Dog Friendly, with Private Pier

Beautiful lakefront property! Would visit again!

Excellent stay! The house had everything we needed and was perfectly located. It was so beautiful and picturesque looking out from the living room to the lake. And we absolutely loved waking up every morning with that gorgeous view of the lake.

We loved our stay! We came with another family. Everyone loved being right on the water. The location was perfect! The house was lovely and plenty of room for all of us. Just a short drive into Truckee. The views were amazing. We enjoyed the cozy nights by the fire. Our group all said they would love to come back again!

Rooms downstairs were a little dark. Some brighter lights would’ve been nice. Other than that, love the property and the stay was great!

Nice rental. I would recommend improving the glass in the sliders and making both easy to operate. Well stocked. Comfortable beds.

Fantastic cabin in the perfect location on the water! The only problem with our stay was that it was too short! Can’t wait to go back.

Everything was as described. Kitchenware was of high quality. It amused me to see the multitude of wine openers in one kitchen drawer. The steps going into the property was challenging for me. With the kitchen above the bedrooms was problematic if I wanted to sleep late. Luckily I’m not usually a late riser. The setting was spectacular. The outside furniture made it easy to enjoy it. The upper level was fun, though the contents of the boxed games were out of the boxes and jumbled together. That was not a problem with my 3 year old granddaughter who made her own games with the various items. It was a GREAT place for me and my family to spend time together.

wonderful location right on lakefront, terrific views from the spacious deck 2 flights of stairs down to private dock. easy to swim off the dock. comfortable for 8 adultswouldn't hesitate to return

This was the perfect Donner Lake house! the dock was great for fishing and launching paddle boards. Couldn't be beat! Would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful views, spacious and nicely appointed interior. Only drawback is there are a lot of steep stairs getting to and from the house itself to the street or to the dock!

The location and house were perfect. Walkable to marina and pub and also walkable to beach/picnic areas. The house sits above the lake - a beautiful view from the decks. We also enjoyed sitting out on the pier. Glad there were beach towels to use. We will be back.

Loved being on the water - great house, well stocked - would come back again. Yes, lots of stairs - but that's pretty much to be expected on the Donner Lake homes

The house was amazing and the perfect location on the lake. We enjoyed every day from morning to night. The house was fully equipped with kitchen items and bedrooms were comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Our family had an excellent time staying at this beautiful property. The new pier was absolutely stunning and provided the perfect spot for sunbathing and evening sunsets. The views from the house were amazing from the two decks, and the location was perfect, close to donner memorial state park! Check-in and check-out was also very easy making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
