A retro two-bedroom cabin hidden in the trees overlooking the 20 acres lake and canal to the back wildlife marsh area. Like a 70’s time machine, it does not have Wi-Fi and cell signal is spotty, which may be a great device detox. A free WIFI antenna is located on the east side of the lake. The 300-acre ranch has many hiking, running and biking trails, except where livestock is kept. The private stocked lake does not require a fishing license.
We had a wonderful time would go back again lot of good family time
Definitely a 1970’s vibe! Comfortable beds, AC and fans good. Went in June. Toilet seat loose and bathroom backsplash dusty. Overall clean. Supplies ample. Porch and home outside need mud dobbers, spiderwebs cleaned out good.
Lovely place to stay and relax after a long day of work very secluded and relaxing
Very nice quiet time! Older cabin still in very nice shape! Everything worked well. Dogwoods were blooming! Only drawback was not a big deal for me & that is the poor cellular signal. Was actually a bonus!
Great property as described, internet didn't work but expected in this beautiful out of the way location. Only issue, we would have appreciated spider webs inside primarily but outside as well and wasp nests would be cleaned out
A real nice place to go relax and enjoy the outdoors, fishing and hiking, sight seeing, a very beautiful place in the hills.
This place was just what it says Retro. Cute items that take you back in time. We loved the quite and never heard any neighbors just the birds singing. The deck was a great place to sit and have coffee. And that big bed was very comfortable. I have enjoyed Arc Ridge Ranch once before and will keep going back.
We got there after dark and had a little difficulty finding the right cabin. However, once we found it, getting in was easy and we had a fabulous time. The cabin is secluded and in a beautiful location. Whoever decorated is very clever. We loved it. We will be renting this cabin again.
It was our anniversary and this year we decided to get away! This property was exactly what we wanted. A pond on plenty of land and not one neighbor close enough to be seen or heard. No issues or complaints, Thank you!
LOVE how secluded it is. So peaceful to drink coffee in the morning on the deck in my jams and not have to worry about neighbors! Kiddos are very anxious to go back!
I gotta say this place is spectacular.. I was in Cabin D which is perched on a slope overlooking the back part of the lake. .. Accommodations were great for a solo traveler, but I can honestly say it's plenty stocked to accommodate more. Air conditioner and tv worked great. Caught several bass .. (fishing is better behind the cabin) I along the trails. I hope to be back.
When arriving I called the contact and it went to voicemail. The cabin identified was not real clear in the confirmation, but we found it. I know it is on a lake, but the outside needed to be cleaned, there were cobwebs everywhere. The overall experience was good.
We arrived a few min after check-in. Had the gate access code, drove to the cabin we had booked. The cabin is very retro for sure. There was no issue with the decor. Our issue was with the AC not working. We tried calling and messaging the property owner and waited over 2 hours (8/5/22) and still have yet to hear from them (8/7/22). We did not stay, we found another place to go to. We will not be back. All of it could have been handled with the owner, but they chose not to reach back out to us. Very disappointed.
Nice cabin for someone you likes the country the lake was beautiful but did have alligators it’s a great place to relax
We enjoyed our week long get away. We did not miss Wi-Fi or the news. Instead we enjoyed nature. Very nice for hiking around the lake, so tranquil
It was definitely secluded. It was nice, but advertised that it had wifi but couldn't hook up to it. It didn't have trash dumpsters to dump your trash. So I guess if you wanted to do away with cell service and social media, this is the place.
I read the reviews of all of the cabin options on this property prior to our stay. It is obvious that the Property Manager, Steve and his team, take these reviews serious and are prompt to make improvements when necessary! The majority of the drive up to this retro lake cabin was gravel and ended just a short distance from the parking area, which is almost a full circle drive around the entire cabin. Squeaky clean, new towels, DVD player with 5 movies, ceiling fan in the master bedroom, living room and on the balcony overlooking the lake! This cabin has a private pier and a 4-person paddle boat, just like all of the other cabins and even has its own trailhead. (2 lifejackets were provided.) Make sure and take your camping chairs for gathering around the fire pit! We were glad the cabin didn't have WIFI, but were easily able to connect at the end of the road leading to this cabin for quick check-ins with family. We caught & released quite a few bass and 1 blue gill. Good times!
Nice place.
This place was great. It was like camping but with a fun cabin (easier with kids!) It had everything we needed for our stay. I had a minor issue which the owner was quick to respond and sent someone out right away. I was worried about cleanliness due to other reviews, but was very pleased with how clean it was. There are trails for hiking. This cabin is hidden in the trees and feels like your in a tree house when sitting on large patio. Bring some fold out chairs for hanging out on the patio though. We will defiantly be staying here again.
Everything was filthy. Dirty bedding. Trash under the beds. Bathroom. Shoulda just gone tent camping. Very very disappointing
It was an amazing stay and the hiking was phenomenal, animals were very beautiful especially during sunset. Would recommend for a true cabin experience
