Stayed Jan 23, 2025Cute A Frame property. Spotless. A bit of an issue with the front door opening into the bathroom and a second bedroom. If you’re using the bedroom and someone is in the washroom, you’re trapped. Other than that inconvenience, it’s a nice property with a great view.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025This was a beautiful setting right on the waterfront! The large deck is a relaxing place to hang out and listen to the waves lapping. It was nice that it's a fully enclosed deck for our dogs and toddler. We saw a seal and eagle and tiny crabs all over the rocky beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. The cabin is original from the 1960s so except a bit of musk; it feels a bit rustic, although the towels and linens were all very clean. One thing to note: the front door opens directly into the only bathroom, and the downstairs bedroom can only be entered through that bathroom - creating a potentially awkward setup. Also, the stairs up to the loft are SUPER steep - really more like a ladder. Another note: this property is managed by Vacasa so you won't be communicating directly with the owner. This was fine but they aren't flexible about certain things - e.g., we had to pay an additional fee for a late checkout.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025The septic tank made the toilet very slow to flush. The bathroom was very stinky and the sink looked like I would need a tetanus shot. The bathroom is also in a very inconvenient spot. The dust and spider webs were pretty wild too. But the experience and the view was amazing!!!

Stayed Jun 6, 2025This cabin is in the most beautiful and tranquil setting. We were greeted by 3 adorable seals. They hung around the water all weekend. The cabin is so clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked very well. This tea drinker appreciated the electric water kettle. Everything worked and we just had the best time. This was a special trip with my daughter before she has her baby. I intend to come back with my husband so he can experience the beauty and magic of this little cabin.

Stayed May 27, 2025Booked a 5 night stay at this great 60s A-frame. Wish there were more houses like this in the day of super-sized vacation homes. This place was perfect. Super cozy and I lucked out with weather. Straight view across bay to Mt Rainier! Kitchen had everything one would need. As others have mentioned the place is best for a couple or small family. Primarily because of bathroom location. But there was just two of us and no problem. I really appreciated the simplicity as the primary reason for the stay was for a personal retreat before starting a new job. There are neighbors on either side, but the terrain and vegetation make them all but invisible. Water access is easy. Path to stairs, then some boulder steps (easy) to the pebble beach. High tide brings the water right to the boulder retaining wall. Low tide puts the waters edge about 50+ yards away. Exposed tidelands offer some exciting wildlife viewing. Herons, eagles, seals, and geoducks spouting water like mini geysers. It honestly was the perfect choice for me to cap off a milestone. We’ll be back.

Stayed May 1, 2025This 1960s A-frame is perfect. From the moment you turn onto the drive all the way through to rocky beach you are transported to a Pacific Northwest oceanside oasis. The tranquil stay included beautiful sunrises and soothing beats of waves on the shoreline below while feeling immersed in the woods.

Stayed Apr 10, 2025Our stay here was very relaxing! The water view was amazing and it was fun exploring on the beach. The A-frame was just right for 2 people. It was a bit weird to enter the cabin through the only bathroom, so having another couple join would limit your privacy! We slept in the loft since it provided the best view, but the steep stairs up was more like a ladder! Over all, we had a really nice stay!
