The quiet location, the natural wood feel of the home
This cabin was perfect for our quiet family getaway. The cabin was peaceful and private, yet close enough tocivilization when we wanted to go out. I loved how pet friendly the cabin was. There was a cute little dog area under the stairs. The neighbors were also really friendly and gave us a quick tour of their home and cheese making area. I would definitely stay here again.
The cabin is perfect. The surroundings are beautiful. I would rent this cabin over & over again. Cannot say anything bad about this place. Very clean and has everything you need
Had a great time. Loved the cabin. Management company was awesome.
The setting is beautiful and the cabin is really special with all the handcrafted detail.
Was within 30 minutes drive to Asheville, hiking, Biltmore estates and food shopping! Property was perfect for dogs a little grass area to run and a creek to play in! Hiking on property and we got to see a black bear!
Glass Mountain Treehouse surpassed all of our expectations. My wife and I are mountain bikers and we planned this vacation to ride everyday and get married on Black Mountain. The location of the cabin is quiet and private. We started each day of our stay with coffee and a wood fire in the glorious fire place. The kitchen has everything you could want to prepare your own meals which we did. The gas grill cooks better than our does at home and everything just tasted better. “Must be the mountains” my wife said. The king bed in the upstairs bedroom was so comfortable and we own a Temperpedic at home. I was concerned about that since we’re both finicky sleepers. Sitting on a rocker on the front porch is such a wonderful place to start and end your day. So peaceful and reflective to listen to the wildlife. We loved the little touches to this place like all the ambient light fixtures. So much character and all the wood and log construction was amazing. We’ll be booking this again for our anniversary in years to come!
Great place. Just needs new mattress.
The treehouse design inside is awesome. Comfortable seating inside and out. Great porch area to enjoy the mountain scenery. Management company quick to respond when called. It does take longer to get to places than expected but didnt mind. We had our dog with us and was traveling for a month. We had a transit and had a hitch with stow away for extra storage. We had dog food in it. On our fourth night at 3 am a bear couldn't get into the heavy plastic carrier but pulled out the tail light out and only got some of the food. Then he went after the trash cans but they were secured well. We got the dog food out and cleaned everything well, parked close to house with outside with outside lights on. lights on. Unfortunately there were no motion sensor lights But he came back again our last night at 10:30 and went back and destroyed tail light again. We decided to pack up then and leave then instead of the morning. We learned a valuable lesson. Bears sense of smell is 7 X stronger. We also almost hit a bear running across the winding road down the mountain. The hiking and trails are great around the area. Recommend even after the bear!!!
Private and secluded!
We chose this cool little cabin because it’s located right in between Chimney Rock and Black Mountain. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed being semi-secluded without having to drive forever for it. We really appreciated that gas for the grill was provided. Thank you!
