House was adequate..nothing fancy but comfortable. King bed was very comfy. Homey feel and well-stocked. Kitchen counter was about 4.5 feet tall...no joke...which made eating difficult even with the high chairs. Great if u have bigger dogs because of the fenced yard. Water pressure sucked but were only there 2 days. Very peaceful and nice views. Well stocked with TV entertainment and games...great internet service but bad phone service...at least on T-Mobile. We will definitely look to return to get away from the city.
The bedrooms had everything we needed. The wildlife was great, we had deer walk right up to the porch. The only thing I would suggest is that there needs to be a small dining table or something. The kids had to sit on the floor to eat.
This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of space. Both indoors and outdoors. Kitchen had everything we needed-plus some. We didn’t have good cell service-which was ok-but the wifi helped with needed communication. Beautiful drive to and from Colorado Springs. Would definitely stay again.
Beautiful property, very comfortable home. Enjoyed the wildlife and beautiful Mountain View’s nearby.
Good place, cell phone service is hit or miss. Roku TVs that we really couldn’t watch anything on because of having to log in, which wasn’t an issue for us anyway. Was clean and ready for us. Would stay again.
A few friends and I stayed here over the weekend for a little getaway. The house is great and perfect for what we wanted! It’s in a great spot to travel to towns like Cripple Creek and Manitou Springs. We would love to stay here again!
Great place to spend thanksgiving for our group of 7! House was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, etc. Nice sized living room and outdoor area. Looking forward to coming back!
My husband and I stayed here with our two boys and it was more than we hoped for! It was extremely kid-friendly with a secret play room they could crawl up into and a huge outdoor area to play in and explore. They've been asking to go back since we got home! I always felt they were safe. The front patio has a locked gate which was nice to keep dogs in when they wanted out. We saw lots of wildlife on explorations along the road (bucks, does, rabbits, and black squirrels). All of the beds were comfortable and there were more than enough towels. The washer and dryer came in very handy! It was fabulous being away from the noise of the city - with quiet nights on the patio looking up at the stars. We had more than enough to do within driving distance. Highly recommend this place! We will be back!
Absolutely LOVED this property! Had a weekend with family and friends and comfortably accommodated 7 adults. Close proximity to Pikes Peak, Woodland Park, and Cripple Creek make this the best option for either relaxing or planned activities!! Can’t recommend enough.
Home is relaxing and in the center of everything on the west side of Pikes Peak!
We loved staying in the house for the weekend. It’s a great location and a good set up. Will definitely be staying here again.
This was a beautiful cabin in a peaceful area. We enjoyed watching deer come right up to the cabin! It was very clean and perfect for our family of 5.
Nice cabin style house.
