We had 4 houses for some of our wedding guests. This one was great. Plenty of SUV parking, outstanding views, and great bedrooms with en suite baths, no sharing ?.
We gathered at Mountain Escape for our family Thanksgiving. The cabin was stunning and the views were amazing. The owners were attentive to our needs and very responsive. This is a great cabin for a family vacation!
What a beautiful house in the mountains. The home is extremely well stocked with blankets/towels and such. All of the rooms are large, and their is plenty of privacy for those who want it even with sharing the house with friends. One of the things that we love to do when we go to the mountains is spend sometime around the firepit and playing board games, the firepit is very nice & there was plenty of wood precut and available. The number of board games was immense, and there are a lot there that we hadn't heard of or played before. The location is wonderful with it being out of town enough that you are in the mountains, and feel fairly secluded but close enough that once you make it down the mountain you are a short easy drive into town. Finally the owner checked in on us both before and during our stay and has a spectacular property manager who is right down the road and happy to help. I would highly recommend it!
Great!
This cabin is beautiful, just like in the pictures. The kitchen was equipped with anything you would need. There is a big dining room table for a large group plus a porch with a table and chairs if you want to sit outside. We sat around the fire pit every night and the kids made s'mores. The fire pit is very close to the cabin and although it states that it's shared with the other cabins, only this cabin has a direct access through the basement door (which is also where the hot tub is located). We really enjoyed our vacation in this area and visited several waterfalls with swimming holes, the Biltmore Estate and Highlands. We would definitely book this cabin again.
Great property and we really enjoyed the stay.
The cabin is very clean and is as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked with items to use for cooking and the coffee does include an option for you to bring your own k cups! The road up to the cabin is quite steep in some areas and twists and turns however two of our vehicles were standard cars and did fine. The road is entirely paved so that makes it better. Overall my family told me multiple times that I found a really nice place for all of us and recommend this beautiful place.
Very comfortable house, with everything provided. The 4 homes are close together, so it’s ideal for group gatherings. Beautiful area with stunning scenery.
We had a great time spending time with family in the beautiful mountains.
We loved our stay at this cabin. It was a little difficult to find and the hot tub was unfortunately down our first night there but Jeanette checked on it for us and did all she can. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at the cabin - there was so much space to either spread out or be together with our family of 14 kids and adults. It was absolutely the perfect place to be shut in for a relaxing weekend. The firepit was great! Only other minor downside might be the shower water pressure but otherwise, everything met/exceeded our expectations.
Great home very roomy. Home was very clean , well decorated and had all of the amenities to make your stay comfortable.
Great communication and a beautiful house.
jeanette was so kind and helpful especially with the snow causing some stress! she was quick to answer and always willing to help. The house was clean and great!
Home is beautiful!
Our family gathered here to spend time together before everyone went back to school, work, etc. What a fun and peaceful place to be! With hiking nearby and on site amenties—fire pit, well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, pool table, and games, there was something for every. When we had a few glitches, the property manager was quick with replies. We would like to return!
A family of 11 people easily accommodated, great views and the cabin was beautiful! Very responsive management, The temperature was a record low in years to the point the water reservoir and hoses froze at night on Christmas eve.. The property hosts were more than responsive to fix the issue and provide drinking water in the mean time. Our stay can only be described as amazing! Thank You!!
This place was great for our group of 14! Lots of space and lots of things for the kids and adults to do. A great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of you’re normal day.
The cabin was plenty big for 11 of us. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would ever need and more. Plenty towels and bath clothes! You will need to get there before dark because it’s a mountain drive to the cabin but nothing you can’t handle. I would recommend some street lights leading to the cabin. The host was great to work with and we had a blast!!!!
This rental has everything!!! Great views, great amenities and a wonderful host! Jeanette was extremely helpful and always quick to answer any questions!! Would highly highly recommend!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We are a family of 9 ranging in age from 5 to 68. The cabin is clean and very roomy. It is well furnished for anything we could have possibly needed. We were especially happy to arrive and find that the cabin was already decorated for Christmas! Be sure to follow the directions that are given in the instructions, as we relied on our GPS and got lost on the mountain. The Brown Family
Wonderful and peaceful
Lovely home with updated furnishings and beautiful views. Not too far from WCU.
We booked 2 properties in wildflower cabins for a large group of friends and family. Beautiful cabin with lots and of games and space for kids to enjoy.
Nice cabin, a bit remote with no cell service or wifi, but we enjoyed our stay.
The location of this mountain cabin did not disappoint! We loved hearing the creek from the deck. The house was perfect for our family. The only problem was our stay wasn’t long enough!
Very nice cabin in the woods
My family and I stayed at this great family cabin over Easter weekend. It was a relaxing weekend filled with many adventures and memories. We loved the cabin. It was exactly as described and the pictures do not do it justice. This cabin was a gem. We will definitely come again and share this listing with others.
