Dog-friendly cabin with wraparound deck, outdoor firepit, & game room

Great living accommodations in a very comfortable environment with a good view

the cabin was easy to find; it is very well appointed with everything you would need from bedding to kitchen utensils it is only 10 minutes to the town of Blueridge.it is very privet but not isolated. we brought our dog Riley along and she had a ball. One other comet the wood stairs leading upstairs could be slick it would be nice to have some non-slip treads.

The cabin was good for our family. The outside was disappointing because the grass was tall and the kids were able to get out an about like we thought. It needs a deep clean. It was close to town and everything we needed was not far to find. Definitely need 4wd to get to the cabin!

Great quiet place to stay descent view. Basement games were very worn out! Wish hot tun worked, driveway was the biggest thing not sure if we could have made it out of the property without 4wd with all the rain the area received while we were there and there was NOTHING about that in the listing

Pretty view, secluded, would not recommend a 2wd though. Hot tub does not work.

The home is clean and inviting. The nature sounds and views are so calming. It is located close to everything you need and will want to do. Just get there in the daylight, at least for the first time, as the turn off the major road can be tricky. Would stay here again.

Nice quiet cabin close to town and Merciers!

I’ve shared a detailed review with Vacasa, who manages this listing, hopefully they will share with the owner and have some maintenance completed at this home. We chose this property because it was pet friendly. We visited in October and unfortunately there are close trees so there is not a great mountain view. It has the minimum needed for a weekend, bedding, pillows, back deck, etc. Unfortunately there were other things in this home that need attention. The photos on the listing are outdated. There are no cute stumps for sitting around the fire, there are multiple old welcome mats, one is growing into the grass. The air fryer and coffee machine are missing light indicators and the coffee machine is difficult to use because the labels on the buttons has been rubbed off, so using it is an educated guess. The cabin was dark, and was made a little darker by a missing lamp bulbs and overhead light. The drive to the rental starts on asphalt then drops steeply to gravel. There is a sign on the gravel road that is posted stating AWD or 4WD vehicles only should attempt the climb out of the driveway. Overall the cabin needs maintenance.

I took my wife on a weekend get-away for her birthday. The address was easy to find via GPS, and the location was well positioned and not too difficult to reach. The accommodations were as stated and were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and the hot tub worked well. Overall a GREAT stay!

Home is obviously dated and has basic maintenance needs. But overall a great tucked away location and very clean with more than enough amenities to make it very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We celebrated our anniversary and had a great time! A couple of things that put a slight damper was the listing said there was a hot tub, but wasn’t until after it was booked, it was revealed the hot tub was unavailable. Also, there were a couple of dirty dishes in the cabinet and drawer. Other than that, place was beautiful and clean.

This cabin had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, and comfortable beds. WiFi worked perfectly as did the cable tv. Very private and quiet. Would definitely stay again!
