We had a great time at the cabin. The rooms had comfortable beds and the area was beautiful. My kids and parents enjoyed themselves immensely. It was also close to so many fun things to do.And even though it was very cold, we enjoyed sitting in the hotub. Next time I won't forget to bring a warm robe!
Coach on my floor in poor shape and not enough and uncomfortable seating downstairs by tv & pool table. Everything else was good.
Nice little cozy spot
This cabin is larger than you would expect and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. However, the sheets, pillows and blankets are of poor quality and the beds have plastic mattress protectors making for uncomfortable sleep. Overall, it could have nicer supplies and be better stocked...usually places we stay have extra blankets, beach towels for the hot tub, pillows, playing cards etc. that make a trip more comfortable and home more welcoming. This felt very much like just a rental.
Very nice mountain cabin getaway. Although I would’ve rated 5, my companions were disappointed TVs & spa did not work and we could only take a bath, not a shower. Also, pieces of litter scattered about the back. Other than that, perfect setting, location, well-stocked kitchenware & linens. Will definitely come rent this property again and recommend it to friends. Thanks for allowing up to 4 dogs, we had 3 who acted like guests.?
Beautiful cabin
This cabin has all of the basics, but needs some attention. The kitchen is adequately stocked and the living room sofas are comfortable. But there are some issues which will impact your comfort. As others have noted, the light in the driveway does not work, making it very dark at night when pulling in. One of the bathroom sinks is clogged. The dishwasher has a loose panel that keeps falling off. The oven drawer is crooked. There are holes in the sofa cushions. There are also some differences between what is pictured and what is there. The sofa in the gameroom, where the TV is located, has been removed and replaced with a very small (two seats), cheap futon. So there is not a comfortable place to watch TV and in fact only two seats in the gameroom in total. For a cabin that sleeps this many, this is not adequate. The beds off of the gameroom are also cheaply made and not appropriate for adults (plus there is no door to this bedroom). The fire rings is very small and sits on the edge of a hill, so only a very few people could sit around it. Also worth noting, and the ad does not promise this, but it was still surprising...the TV is not a smart TV, and the house only has about 4 DVDs. So if you plan to relax and watch movies, this is not the house for you.
The unit was overall nice, but the cleanliness of the cabin was not what we are used to. Trash was full when we got there, Kitchen was not clean, Dishes were not clean, etc. Cabin could use some necessary updating, like bedding, utensils, couches, TVs, and outdoor seating.. We didn’t use the hot tub due to the cleanliness issues. There is however lots of room in the cabin, huge wrap around porch, great screened porch and a relaxing view of the woods. I also liked driving the hilly, gravel road leading up to the cabin.
Definitely a nice little getaway, a little smaller than anticipated. We were comfortable with 2 families of small children. Older kitchen, well stocked with well used supplies, not everything worked properly. Beds were pretty comfortable. Would recommend truck or SUV to access property, large gravel driveway to enter. Loved the wineries and apple farms that were within a short drive.
It was a secluded great place and close enough to town I will definitely book again.
