Dog and family-friendly escape with deck, bay view, and Wifi

Clean, gorgeous property, dog friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Having lived on the island I knew the neighbors and ran into them as they picked blackberries on the backyard hedges. The views are amazing, it's located right near Dog Woods and Kelly's Point. The rooms and cabin was beautiful and clean. Well stocked and absolutely perfect for 2-3 people. The expansive lawn and yard was fantastic to spend time in.It was hard to keep it cool during the day. There weren't screens on all windows so we had some issues with bugs getting in. Additionally a few of the heating elements on the stove didn't work.

Multiple items broken. Screen door fell off on first use. Windows dirty and missing most screens so hard to cool the house down. Benches on deck both broken. Door lock loose and twisting in the door and generally the house needs a good cleaning lots of food debris on the floors and under cabinets and molding items under the sink which probably contributed to the musty smell.

House a little run down but clean and comfortable. Great big yard with a fantastic view. Our dogs loved running around in the huge yard. No beach access but close proximity to beach, ferry and Dog Woods.

The house was comfortable and clean athough a bit run down. The view and huge yard was the highlight and our two dogs loved getting out their zoomies there.

Simple yet very nice place on the island. Amazing views from the deck. Was very comfortable for a family of 4 and there was room for one more near the loft. We enjoyed our stay. Just hope the find time to repair the stairs (damaged from weather) so it’s easier to access the beach.

This was a nice getaway, can recommend.

We loved this wonderful property.

This is my first bad experience with Vrbo. We were notified by the company managing this property, Vacasa, 4hrs prior to check in that it was no longer available. Initially Vacasa told us it was because the vehicle ferry was not operating to the island. We knew this already and were planning to take the passenger ferry and bike to the property. Later we were told construction was happening at the property, so even if we could get there we couldn’t stay there. This property should not have been listed on Vrbo if this was the case, and we should have been notified sooner. I don’t know who dropped the ball: Vacasa or the property owners, but it was very frustrating and unprofessional.I had reached out via Vrbo chat a week prior to our stay after learning about the delay in the vehicle ferry being back in operation. Vacasa staff (or maybe AI chatbot) responded with unhelpful info: the ferry schedule, Limo services, airport shuttles between SeaTac and Whidbey. If construction was being done to the property this would have been an opportune time to let us know and this whole last minute fiasco could have been avoided.Vacasa offered us a full refund or to stay somewhere else. Since we had already paid for a dog sitter, took time off, and were packed, we opted to stay somewhere else. We were offered locations in Sequim, Port Townsend, Blaine… if you’re familiar with Washington you know these are not close by Guemes.Would not recommend unless they get their sh*t together.

Quaint cottage with an amazing view and a beautiful yard. The island was very charming and we enjoyed the ferry rides, especially the three and five year old. Would definitely rebook.

My two dogs and I spent a weekend at this lovely little place on the west side of Gueme. The house was perfect — comfy and too fancy cause you know, I have two dogs. We had multiple hikes a day on the beach and in Dog Woods. The yard has fences appropriate so that you don’t have to worry about losing a dog. The views are spectacular and the ferry ride easy to access. Greta place to get away
