Designer cabin treehouse on acre with amazing views and privacy

This was our second stay at the cabin and it was as nice as the first. The cabin is immaculate and very nicely decorated. It is dog-friendly, with dog bowls, treats, and even poop bags provided. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a glass of wine, appreciating the beautiful scenery and seeing the wildlife. We cooked a meal in the well appointed kitchen. The beds are extremely comfortable. In short, a perfect stay. Elizabeth is very good at responding to questions or any issues you might have. You couldn’t ask for a better host or a better place to stay.

What a great property! Extremely clean and very inviting!Elizabeth has thought of everything and we really saw that in all of the small details! Either she has a background in hospitality or is very conscientious (or both!). Everything was well stocked and clearly thought out. Check in and Check out were a breeze and all of the instructions were clear and easy to understand. We normally travel with a few cleaning supplies on the off chance a property might not be as clean as advertised, but this was no where near an issue here. Very clean and it never felt like other people's dirt was present. From the dishes, to the cabinets, to the bathrooms and bedrooms, everything was super clean!We would not hesitate to stay here again.Our last visit we stayed closer to the Pine Cove side of town, but really preferred this location much more. There is a great coffee shop that shares a building with a fabulous cafe conveniently located about a mile away at the bottom of the hill. Everything was so peaceful and it was nice to be able to start our mornings with coffee and reading for pleasure. Coming from AZ, the weather was indeed chilly for us which is exactly what we were hoping for!Plenty of great hiking all around Idyllwild and I was able to go for a nice run up to the top of Forrest Rd 5S11 from the property itself.Thanks so much for making our trip to Idyllwild so memorable!We had a great time and felt extremely comfortable at your property!Cheers!

Second time here. Outstanding. Highly recommended.

My family of 5 and dog enjoyed our stay here. The cabin and property are spacious. I loved the decor. Lots of reading nooks and a large deck to view the sunset. Good selection of books and puzzles. Kitchen well-stocked. The electric car charger was a nice bonus. There was an annual Idyllwild Adventure Pass to borrow hanging on the refrigerator. We received a home made loaf of lemon poppy seed bread upon arrival. The host reached out the day after arrival to make sure things were going smoothly. Overall a great stay and one of my favorite cabins.

The photos online don't do this property justice. It is beautifully decorated, feels like home, and has such beautiful views from every room.

Communication was fantastic. The house was really a gem. Decorated very nice and comfortable to be in from the get go. All the small touches added to the stay. This home is definitely not to be missed. The place was quiet and the views unreal! Treat yourself and take the plung! This home is special.

The home is beautiful and in perfect condition.

The cabin was cozy and well supplied. Elizabeth was a terrific host who made sure our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed a fire each evening and played games, and talked, and fed squirrels the peanuts we’d brought. Our weekend was a great getaway in Idyllwild.

The host and cabin felt so welcoming. We loved the poppyseed loaf and warm beds.

Wonderful place - well appointed, mindfully kept, the rough edges of vacation rentals worked out and well documented. If you’ve never rented a vacation rentals you’ll have to read a tiny bit to know where and how. If you’ve done this before you will smile at the clarity and wit Elizebeth puts into her process. We were even greeted with homemade salsa. The outdoor deck is delightful and grounds very quiet and relaxing. Communication with the host was clear and prompt. I would gladly return. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Idyllwild. Elizabeth was fantastic to work with. She gave us great cabin instructions both to get there and to use for house lights, air ,etc. She even left us a sweet treat upon arrival.

I enjoyed everything about this cozy yet spacious mountain cabin. Every amenity one could need seemed to be available……for instance, popcorn for the microwave and even an electrical connection to charge EV’s.

This charming, roomy 3 bed/2 bath cabin has scenic views from every window. Every day a group of deer appeared on the property. Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the many amenities provided by Elizabeth, our host. My husband enjoyed one in particular, the extensive library sectioned into fiction and non fiction.He recommends “Finding the Mother Tree”.This was a perfect stay in the heart of nature with many of the comforts of home.Terry and Trudy, San Diego, CA

When renting short term rentals for getaways, we’ve come to learn that never expect that what you see is what you get. This was not the case here as we were greeted by a place that exceeded our expectations so we are very pleased. We will come back as we had a delightful time in a place that felt like home. So fortunate to find this beautiful property. My sister, my best friend and I just had the best time. Elizabeth added so many personal touches and such clear,concise directions. There was no need to have to contact her for anything. It’s very quiet and serene and every window has a beautiful view

My husband and I enjoyed our two days stay this beautiful cabin. The difference between this place and so many other rentals is that it is so much more like a home than an IKEA showroom. It is clear that Elizabeth took pains to cover all the bases. In my opinion, she has great taste as well. The place was well appointed and we were not wanting for anything. Enjoy the feeling of isolation and quiet. Would not hesitate to book this place again while visiting this cute little town. Enjoyed hiking area as well.
