Deer Dreaming Cabin on the Coosawattee River

The place is beautiful, deer visit by the dozen everyday. It's nice more than moderate hike to the water but very worth it to me. There was lots of extras to keep is busy right there as well as plenty ro explore and do locally.

Lovely place to stay! Pet friendly, clean and wonderful view.We truly enjoyed our stay and the game room downstairs. Would recommend!

The pictures on the website definitely do not do this beautiful home justice. The view of the river is spectacular. We were lucky enough to arrive while the mountain laurels were in bloom! The home is clean and has everything anyone would need in the kitchen, including extras of necessites like paper towels. The host has thought of every detail. Check in and check out is easy, and Dan was very accommodating. We would love to stay here again with our daughters!

The cabin was beautiful! It had everything that you could need. We loved sitting out on the deck and listening to the sound of the river. My wife loved the bed swing. Now, she wants me to get one for our deck. It was nice seeing all the deer on the property and throughout the neighborhood. We would love to come back! Thanks Daniel!

This cabin was AWESOME! It was super nice and clean. It had everything we needed for a nice relaxing getaway. The porch off the living room is where i lived and breathed..there's even a nice cozy daybed out there was nice to hear the water and fall asleep. We even had a few floaters pass by on tubes. Will definitely be planning another trip soon. Thanks again for sharing your space Dan!

Responsive host, clean home

Great Location, beautiful back porch with Swing. Loved the Kitchen fully stocked and accessible. Daily visitors with the Deer and Geese were the absolute best. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful home and neighborhood. Exceptionally clean and comfortable beds. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything needed for cooking. Owner graciously let us in early since we arrived hours before check in time. Met a few neighbors while walking our dog and they were very friendly. The area is full of wildlife. We fed the deer some corn and they stayed around the house. There are windy roads up to the house but very simple to find. The walk to the river was steep but there are steps and a rope hand rail to help. We loved our stay here and will hopefully return next fall.

Amazing stay in this cabin definitely deer friendly! My BF couldn’t stop feeding them! Cozy porch to snuggle in the rain and take it all in.

We have stayed in several mountain cabins and this one was the best yet. Very clean nicely furnished. The couch, chairs, and beds were in very good condition. Not worn and in need of replacement like other cabins we have visited. Many additional small details and the spectacular view were icing on the cake!

Our stay was so good. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. The owner thinks of everything u may need. Just bring ur own food. The deer was beautiful and feeding them was great, there are out by the cabin every evening and morning. The firepit area was good the little hike to the river was a little tough exspecially comeing back up…

I came back for a second stay because we had such a great time during our first visit. The cabin was just as beautiful as the first time. We love the peaceful atmosphere and scenery. Dan is an awesome host!

Very nice cabin for my visiting friends. Everything we needed was there. Great entertainment spaces, but the porch was our favorite hangout. The river was so peaceful to hear. I’ve stayed in this neighborhood before, but this has been my favorite so far. Love all the wildlife. Would stay here again for sure.

The property and cabin were immaculate. Short walk down to the river, deer everywhere in the community at all times of the day. Dan, the host was great. Very easy check in and out. Planning on another visit here again. Couldn’t have been nicer.
