Stayed Aug 22, 2025It was a great cabin. It was clean, had lots of amenities, and great outdoors spaces. Celebrated an 80th birthday there. We enjoyed the lake, the clubhouse was cool, the pool looked nice, but it started raining. Next time we will stay longer, for sure. It was one of our favorite rentals ever.

Stayed May 22, 2025The house was very well equipped with essentials, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Our family of Appalachian grads enjoyed visiting Boone again as well as the friendly community of Powderhorn Mountain. The games were especially fun!

Stayed May 8, 2025We came out for our daughter’s graduation from App State. The house was more than we expected! So many comfortable seating options, super clean rooms, and lots of beautiful walks and hikes for all different ability levels. The quality of the nearby disc golf course in the community was a bonus surprise! We cooked all our meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having so many king sized beds was a treat and all the beds were very comfortable! The host was very responsive to texts (I just had to text to get the gate code and let her know when we were leaving) although we did not need anything. We hope to have the opportunity to go back so we have more time to explore the area.

Stayed Mar 28, 2025This was a group of 10 women, so the many beds were a huge help in laying the foundation of good nights' rest during our stay. It's a wonderful place to walk, the view is amazing, and the cabin is laid out just right. All of these factors gave us the great gift of a perfect weekend to enjoy.

Stayed Jan 24, 2025Beautifully decorated and spacious for our group of 12. The kids loved the game room and we enjoyed the main space, the kitchen was well stocked which was great! Very homey feel and beautiful views to go with it!

Stayed Dec 25, 2024My family of 10 loved this home. The view was great, house was clean and roomy and had all the supplies we needed in the kitchen and bath areas. Ellen answered us within minutes via text which was awesome. All the beds were very comfortable. Hot Tub was wonderful to have esp. during winter. We will definitely book another stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I, our adult children, and grandkids all loved this beautiful, well-stocked, spacious cabin. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all 3 floors with the grands downstairs playing games, or all gather together on one floor for meals and special times together. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool while looking at the lake and mountains right next to the well-maintained clubhouse. Our host, Ellen, was very responsive and friendly before, during, and after our trip. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return someday.
