Cute cabin in our private woods, close to a bike trail, winery, and lakes

The location is great. You've got a secluded cabin in the woods, but you're still close to great restaurants, wineries, breweries and all the other amenities of the area. The cabin itself is charming, comfortable and incredibly clean. I loved all the little touches like the fire table, the spice rack, the umbrella and toiletries. They even left farm fresh eggs in the fridge and a lovely assortment of Michigan wine and snacks. I will definitely go back and will recommend this carbon to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Such an amazing place to stay. They are always so welcoming and have little things that make your stay so special!

What a gem in the woods! While still very conveniently located a short drive from downtown TC, it also feels very off the beaten path, private and like you are in the middle of the woods. The whole property is so pretty. It feels very private but the host is nearby to help with anything. The house is perfectly appointed and the host has thought of absolutely everything a renter would need. It has a nice open feel and so many thoughtful touches. We requested a few very specialized things and our host immediately and happily accommodated us. You can tell they truly care about their renters. Communication was always super fast and thorough. The bed was quite comfy (and I am a picky sleeper). The shower is large with a nice shower head and very good water pressure. The surroundings are peaceful and serene. We love to cook on our trips and the kitchen/grill gave us all we would need to feel like home. I highly recommend this property and we will absolutely be back.

We had a great stay! The location is very convenient to explore the TC area but also extremely private. We appreciated all the included amenities and how clean and welcoming the cabin is. It was a wonderful experience overall!

We had the best stay at the Americana cabin! The location was great for us to feel like we were secluded but still a very short drive into Traverse City. They have other cabins on the property but they aren’t visible to each other. We also explored Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes! All were an easy drive. The owners left thoughtful touches (wine, fresh eggs, cherry salsa) and the cabin was very well equipped! Plus they had great recommendations of places to eat, etc. They had bikes available to ride, but we didn’t get the chance to use them! The whole area was beautiful and we’d highly recommending staying in one of their cabins.

My husband and I have stayed within this beautiful property several times. It is incredibly private. The owners have thought of everything for a quiet stay. They have constructed lovely cabins that provide peaceful surroundings, as well as upscale details within each cabin. The proximity to Traverse City allows for access to restaurants and other activities, but if you want to cook, you have fantastic appliances and accoutrements to do so. The bed is very comfortable. You’ll have wonderful linens. Plus bikes!

Enjoyed our stay at the “Americana” cabin in traverse City. The cabin was secluded, but still close to everything we wanted to do. The property was immaculate and the best stocked place we have ever stayed. It’s really about the details!

We've stayed in many rentals before, this was without a doubt our best experience ever. Beautiful property, setting and decor. This little cabin has everything you could ever want. The hosts communication and care for what they do is over the top. Wonderful, can't wait to come back.

All of the three properties are stunning along with the woodlands. Beth and Terry have thought of all the creature comforts and then some. The Christmas tree was perfect for the season. This was about our 5th time staying here and I guarantee there will be many more.

This is our second time staying with these hosts and it won't be the last. The cabin feels secluded, but with easy access to all that the area has to offer. The cabin is perfectly outfitted with all the things you need as well as the extras. We are already planning a return trip next year. Cannot recommend this place more highly!

A great experience. We love staying at these cabins. Very secluded in the woods and private. Very comfortable and is exactly what we need. It's the only place we book when we visit Traverse City.

I used to come to the Traverse City area as a child. I had forgotten how beautful the sound of the wind is in the tall trees. So peaceful and quiet. This property is a dream for anyone looking to get away from stress and chaos. The hosts are so thoughtful in remembering what comforts people want when they travel. From a little goodie basket upon arrival, fresh lavender in bud vases throughout the cabin, soft cushions for the patio furniture, bikes for getting out on the trails, and a make-up mirror for us ladies who need a close-up view! The cabin is so comfortable and cozy. Our hosts supplied coffee, a well-stocked kitchen, including ALL spices, and tons of cookware for those of us who enjoy dining in, as well as an excellent gas grill. They also supplied suggestions for good local eateries for those who dine out. We will definitely come back! This place is top-notch!

From the initial booking for this stay all the way through to leaving Beth and Terry were fantastic. The location was just the most perfect secluded bit of Michigan woodland. Close enough to get to all the local spots to visit, but also enjoy just being away from it all. Trails on the property were nice to walk around. Having access to clothes washing facilities, either in the accommodation or on site would have been helpful. Place was so clean and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The welcome gifts were very kind and showed off the local area well. Bedroom was beautifully decorated and the bed was really comfy. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Terry & Beth’s place! Their woods has trails for hiking and is close to activities for enjoyment but far enough away for peace and privacy. Everything about their Americana Cabin exceeded our expectations: clean, well appointed with extras such as bicycles, fire pit, screened in-porch with awesome swing, grill… And they left local goodies as a welcome gift. Great hospitality and hope to return!

We had a wonderful week staying at this cabin. It was private and quiet. We saw a mama deer and her fawn feet away from the patio and loved listening to the birds. The cabin was super clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for biking the TART trail and exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again.
