Stayed Sep 21, 2025Very clean. Included all toiletries such as hand soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo/conditioner, body soap. Also, had coffee and plastic wrap/tin foil on hand. This is a huge help when coming in/out fast for work.

Stayed Mar 6, 2025I don't normally fill these out, but for the price and size of the unit we were very happy! Great location for our snowmobile trip with ample parking space. Check in and out was very easy. We will definitely be back.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025This was a great property for 3 generations to enjoy and the view across the portage was spectacular with the clean white snow. We had great spaces to be together to play games around the table and to spread out for quiet time. The kitchen worked well for our food prep. The cabin, was VERY clean & well cared for! I preferred to wash some dishes upon arrival. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Very nice accommodations. Enjoyed morning coffee and grilling on the deck overlooking Portage canal and Hancock. Excellent for large groups. Close to downtown Houghton.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024This is a beautiful new property with a lovely view of the Portage Canal. This is close to stores and restaurants and also close to all the beauty of the UP. The unit is well equipped. The only disappointment was the lack of access to the water and the lack of grass to take my dogs to. Though I do understand that the property is still undergoing construction so I am sure these issues will be rectified. I highly recommend this property for your stay.
