Custom-Built Clarklake Cabin: Sauna & Cold Plunge!

The property has everything we needed for 6 adults and 9 kids (age 10 - 15) to enjoy a family Christmas together. We appreciated that there were multiple comfortable lounging/living room areas so people could spread out when they wanted, but there was also enough space to get her everyone together in one room. The many bedrooms were also well outfitted with comfy beds. The only complaint from anyone during our stay was that we did have a few slivers from the floor.

The Clarklake cabin was just as fun as last year. Clean, lots of room, games and puzzles to keep us entertained, and the second refrigerator really comes in handy with a big crowd.

This cabin and property are amazing. We had such a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning !

The place was near perfect. A little bit of wear and tear on it (we would have liked to use the sauna, but it appeared out of commission) but we loved everything about it. The space had a great lay out. The rooms were comfortable. Plenty of blankets and towels. A great place for our nerdy friend reunion. We would totally recommend and rent again.

Amazing home with tons of living space. We had a men’s retreat and it was perfect. Lots of places to have group discussions indoor and out. Fireside, outdoor pavilion, multiple indoor living and dining spaces. Golf nearby was great. And only 45 minutes from Michigan stadium to enjoy the game together. Big Green Egg and Blackstone were awesome too. Amenities everywhere. Lots of dry food, spices, coffee etc left behind. Sergii was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Amazing property

This was our third stay at this property for our annual family reunion. 24 of us (I know it says sleeps 19, but 2 people under age 1 and others willing to sleep on couches, etc.) We obviously love it because we keep going back! Fantastic outdoor space including several large grassy areas, a great fire pit, and a pond with fish and turtles. Two huge porches (we like our morning coffee on one porch and afternoon activities on the other porch :) And the biggest outdoor draw being the amazing gazebo--Large with a big picnic table, comfy seating and a large screen TV! It's a focal point of our stay and would be especially great on a rainy day. The indoor space is great as well. Adequate bedrooms and bathrooms for 24 of us.... And 4 big indoor gathering spaces (not even counting the huge kitchen with large island. 3 huge tables for playing cards/games, a game room downstairs. So many places for people to be together. In terms of leaving the property (which we don't do much because we just like hanging out there together), a small beach on Clark Lake is a 5 minute drive and good for young kids. We took advantage of a beautiful park about 20 minutes away that has a splash pad, playground and pickleball courts. The house and property was very clean on our arrival. There were plenty of towels and paper towels/toilet paper for our stay. This is a beautiful and unique property!

This lovely lodge was the perfect spot for our group of 25 family members from across the country to spend a week together. It is truly remarkable to find a place this size with all of the amenities it provided. We had so much fun fishing, going in the cold plunge, sauna, and hot tub, playing in the game room, sitting around the fire pit at night, and using the large yard for lawn games. We cooked almost all of our meals together on the Blackstone and had our family barista make tailored coffee in the pot or espresso machine. This saved us a ton of money! Overall, it was delightful!! There were a few downsides, such as a broken dishwasher in the main kitchen, a missing door on a shower, old uncomfortable spring mattresses on the King beds, and a warped garage door that we had to fix when it came off the track. The house is showing its age with some things that need repair, which I imagine the owners will work on once the busy season is over. The owner was responsive but had trouble getting a repairman out until the day we left for the dishwasher. We appreciated that they let us bring more people than the listing says, and we were able to sleep all 25 of us quite comfortably. We did need to frequently wash towels and provide our own toiletries. Overall, we loved the place and are considering returning for another family reunion!

We really enjoyed our stay at Clarklake Cabin. Such a beautiful huge cabin with lots of room for a large group. The cabin itself is massive with so many gathering places, lots of comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, so may games and play equipment, and 4 bathrooms. The property is also quite large with many gathering places including a large outdoor gazebo room, fire pit, large deck and fishing pond. There was so much to do at the cabin that we never even ventured over to Clark Lake.

We booked this property for a group of us who have been friends for 35 years to celebrate a few birthdays. This property has the space and amenities we were looking for, and many we didn't know we wanted. The giant JBL speakers and magnificent espresso machine were massive hits. If we had known about the many different outdoor cooking options, we would have planned food differently, but we did use the Blackstone to make a mountain of pancakes. Between the four lounge areas, the outdoor pavilion, and the basement game room, there were plenty of spots for simultaneous noisy and quiet pastimes. Getting familiar with the light switches took some effort, but everything worked, and the Wi-Fi speed was excellent.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We are already talking about another stay there at some point. Stunning! Everything about the property is A+++

Lots of room to spread out, both inside and out. A remote bedroom that allowed for quiet time for younger to take naps without interfering with everyone ability to socialize. Nice and big yard to play fetch with the dog. Overall, a very relaxing place.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. 19 of us (aged 4 to 70) spent a long weekend enjoying the beautiful, spacious yards including the fabulous fire pit which was a highlight each evening. The outdoor lighting is spectacular! The house was clean and well stocked. We loved spending time in the gazebo.... eating lunch or dinner or having a birthday party for our almost 5 year old! The kitchen including fridge was plenty big enough for all that we needed. We had morning coffee on the front porch and spent lots of afternoon and evening time on the back decks. The newly installed sauna and cold plunge were hits! The nearby Spirit Trail provided a nice walking path and the beach of Clark Lake is very close by. Several of us drove about 15 minutes to a park that included a great playground and pickle ball courts.This was our second stay at this house and we plan to be back for a third!

This is the second year in a row that my friends and I have stayed here. It accommodates our group very well! Some love sitting on the porch while others love playing yard games (Cornhole, kan jam or many others)! Then in the evenings we would find ourselves starting up a fire in the fire pit and sitting around it until we all started to get tired. To where we would find enough beds for everyone! We love this place and we will be back!!

Beautiful location and property. Everything we could have asked for was provided, and all questions we had were promptly answered. Highly recommend!
