Designed for comfort and connection, this log-style cabin includes two spacious master suites, providing the perfect blend of rusticelegance and modern convenience.

On the main floor, you’ll find a light-filled kitchen and dining area with a handcrafted island made from local oak. Step outside to a covered deck furnished with four classic log rocking chairs—an ideal place to sip your morning coffee as mist weaves through the mountains. A gas grill and outdoor fire pit invite evenings of grilling, storytelling, or marshmallow roasting beneath the stars. Upstairs, a cozy loft features twin bunk beds, ideal for children or extra guests. Both king-suite bedrooms include private en suite bathrooms, each with a clawfoot soaking tub and walk-in shower for a luxurious spa-like experience.

Although nestled in peaceful seclusion, Cubs Den is conveniently located just 12 minutes from the Appalachian Trail -Sam's Gap & 13 minutes from Mars Hill University and the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theater. Downtown Burnsville is only 15 minutes away and offers charming shops, eateries, and a thriving local arts scene. Be sure to catch a show at the historic Parkway Playhouse or visit the celebrated Penland School of Craft and its gallery. Also nearby are the Stables at Bucktown and The Preserve at Wolf Laurel, where guests can enjoy guided trail rides, lessons, and arena experiences for young riders.

Exterior quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to ensure a peaceful mountain environment.
