Crystal Lake Inn by Destination Big Bear : Pool Table! Foosball! Air Hockey! Master Suite! Deck! BBQ!

Easy checkin process, great value, close to the village/lake, and plenty of room for our group. Kids loved the game loft. Great communication from the hosts. A++

The cabin location was good and it is close to town with all the major attractions. The only major problem we had was there was no air conditioning. It was very hot starting around 2-3 pm until late at night.

This home was dated and old. For the price we were charged and what you charge for this property, you should upgrade this home. It needs new furniture, lighting, appliances, nicer linens. It was dark and dreary, smelled like cigarettes, not enough seating for our family. The pictures did not match the actual rental home. We will not rent from your rental property again. We have never had an issue with VRBO and I’m really heart broken how a rental property can charge all these fees, have all these rules, make you sign agreements and then you drive all the way over there and are disappointed.

Home is beautiful perfect for large groups. Few recommendations: update the television's throughout the home to smart TV, clean fire place chimney, replace the snow shovel, replace the down spouts for gutters, have neighbor trim the tree that is dropping branches on the driveway. Shovel or salt walk ways and porch ( had a slip on the ice and steps) additional towels for bathrooms and kitchen

Many problems. No internet as the owner had not paid the bill. The kids enjoyed the pool table but the pool sticks needed new tips. The other games did not work. Kitchen was not stock that well. Oven did not work well. Took forever to cook in the oven.

Overall, the location and stay was great. A couple of things we noticed were the house needs updating. The doors inside don’t close right or lock in place, the air hockey table doesn’t really work, the outlets are pretty loose. Pool table was a hit and we made it work.

Overall the property has a lot of potential, but it needs some maintenance. Description states that it comes with ceiling fans through out, what it doesn't state is this means there is NO AC in 90 degree weather or that the fan in the master bedroom is broken. Half of the electrical sockets are too loose to actually use. Pictures show a Jacuzzi/hot tub, but it is broken as well. The photos show a BBQ, but it won't heat past 300 degrees. Wording in the description is very specific to make it seem nicer than it is. There are clearly urine stains all around the upstairs toilet and given that we are in a global pandemic the home really was not cleaned very well at all. For the amount that you spend per night on this home you can find something nicer. Property management did not seem to know the property very well either. I would not recommend this property, in fact I have had multiple friends reach out and ask about it and I DO NOT recommend this property.

The property is old and dated, which was expected. But the property wasn’t cleaned well. I didn’t feel like I could cook on the stove because of a weird rock feature above the stove that had cobwebs hanging from it.

This place is okay. It’s a little small, especially in the kitchen and bedrooms, but it’s fairly nice. The loft game room carpet is extremely stained and the arcade game doesn’t work. There’s no hot tub, which is a bummer. All these things are stated in the description so you know ahead of time, but it’s still a bummer when you get there. Also, the hot water runs out after 3 people shower. This house is less expensive than most and you get what you pay for. All in all, the house was fine, it just didn’t have a lot of the things that make the trip that extra bit better.
