Very cute, clean, comfortable cabin. Loved the outdoor space. Fire pit, back and front porch. Easy access to highway. Local restaurants nearby. The bedroom could have been bigger with a place to put luggage. But not a big deal for me. It rained the whole time. Can’t predict the weather. So will have to return!! Would definitely recommend to others.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. I loved the small modern cabin that we stayed in that was very close to the local parks nearby where we went hiking. The cabin was very clean and we loved the fire pit out back.

Bedroom on the small side but just 2 of us. Loved the location too. Near everything! Would stay again.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Great tv options. Very well decorated. There was a water filter which we really appreciated. We used it to drink, brush our teeth and make coffee. There is a pretty strong smell to the water. The host explains this is treated well water. I just wonder if all the cabins in the Red River Gorge have this problem. Also, we had thought about making slice and bake cookies but couldn’t find a baking sheet. Other than that, we didn’t cook any meals while there. The weather was rainy and cool so we didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the back deck or fire pit area. It looked really nice though. I contacted the host once with a question and was answered promptly. Good communication. It’s in a great location. We couldn’t hear road noise inside but we could when outside.

Good location for activities. Bedroom very small and no place to put luggage except kitchen/living room. Per rules not allowed to have camp fire (time of year, I guess). Couldn’t find outdoor trash can…messaged with Stay Over and they told us to put in outdoor can at cabin. We walked around cabin twice and no can. Took our trash with us. Got about 10 emails prior to pay extra to check in several hours early for fee.

First of all very cute cabin. We had a ok stay. First housekeeping frogot trash bags, the front door code kept messing up. And the septic tank needed empty or something. All 3 items were eeported with no solution. So Guest Service could have been better....

Great location and looks just like the photos. Only downside/problem was the ANTS! They were EVERYWHERE! On the walls, in the cupboards & countertops. You couldn’t put anything down without the ants swarming all over your food. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

Nice place, quick access to many hike and kayak locations. As noted in their description, the water did emit a strong sulfur smell which got stronger with hot water use. If you’re a coffee drinker, make sure to pick up some coffee grounds before arriving (or go to a gas station within 10 minutes from the cabin) to pick some up because there was a coffee pot and filters you could use but no grounds.

We absolutely loved the stream in the back, we would just go out and stand by it and enjoy it. And the property has many trails that we hiked. The trail to the upper falls were blocked by a fallen tree, but we hiked to the lower falls and it was a wonderful hike and it was very private. We actually enjoyed hiking on the property more than the trials in the parks! We are absolutely counting on going back.

The cabin was very cozy and clean - loved the ambiance! Planned on eating meals in to save $$. However, when we went to cook breakfast, the nonstick pans were terribly scratched and even rusted. Your pans should be thrown out - seriously! The bed was not great. Metal bedframe squeaked and you could feel the springs in the mattress.

This is a very cute and clean cottage. It has all the amenities needed for a short weekend stay. It is very close to everything, and you do not have to drive miles up the mountains in the dark. The hosts were very responsive and helpful during booking, modify booking, check in and communication while there. The only thing that could have been more helpful is that there is only one bed and a couch. The VRBO website stated it sleeps 4. As I knew it was a small, quaint place, I chatted with the hosts to ensure that the couch was a pull out so that it could sleep 4. They confirmed that it would sleep 4. Unfortunately, the couch did not pull out. When i reached out, they indicated that there was an air mattress, however, I did not find it. Not a big deal for us as I have teenagers that didn't mind sleeping on the couch and the chair/ottoman, but I would update the listing with an air mattress. Again it is a great place to stay for 2!!
