Well, I was excited to get there, the property is stunning, a beautiful area off grid. The first issue was no numbers or names on each of the 3 cabins, so I had to try the door code on each one, the code didn’t work on all three. I called the property management company and they were helpful in getting me a new code to try, I stayed on the phone and tried the new code and it still didn’t work on any cabin.. then I noticed the scratches and dents around the door knobs, I was so focused on the keypad. I wasn’t paying attention to that initially. It is very obvious someone has tried to break in at some point, the second and third cabin have the scratches on the doorsI sent pictures to the property management team and told them I wanted another place to stay because I didn’t feel comfortable and they did find another place for me in Campton. I really wanted to be in Slade, but I needed a place to stay and I was been waiting around in my car for over two hours at this point.I think this property has a lot of potential but it seems like no one is doing the upkeep necessary as of Aug 2025. I was satisfied with how helpful the management team was.

Beautiful area. The a frames are in a heavily wooded ravine making it very picturesque. The access road was very rough. I feel that needed a stronger warning in the description. When we had some issues management was very quick to respond and resolve the issues. Overall would stay with them again.

This property is so special. We were so pleased! The pictures truly don’t do the beauty, peace, and uniqueness of this place justice! The cabin was spotless, and the perfect coziness for the two of us for the days we were there. The pavilion was stocked with everything we needed! It’s far enough out into the wilderness of the gorge to make you feel removed from the world, but close enough to everything the gorge has to offer! We had the whole property to ourselves during our stay, which was awesome, but we will definitely be back with friends and rent out the cabins with our people! I loved this place!

We arrived late at night and did have difficulty finding which cabin was ours as they were not named. The road is pretty difficult, as noted. It worked for what we needed!

The cabin was very nice and well kept. Although we didn't use the common area, it was still something we said we would love to bring our friends to and use.

I stayed here with my friend. There were supposed to be 4 of us, but 2 had to cancel, so it ended up just being 2 of us. The stay was fine, and we cleaned the place and did what was requested in the checkout process, and then when i got home 2 days later i got an email that i was being charged $300 for excessive blood clean up. It was the wierdest email I have ever gotten! Then I called the property and a woman working there read a report saying that the housekeepers reported large amounts of blood leading up to the cabin, and blood on the light switch and table. This did not occur when I was there, and I was also very concerned thley just cleaned up large amounts of blood instead if calling the cops! They told me they would do some research and review videos, but days later I have still heard nothing. They also told me later, in a message via the app, that the housekeepers had videos and pictures of the blood,, but when I asked to see them they did not send me anything. I also have pictures and videos of the cabin right before we left because my friend takes videos of everything, showingno blood. I have not heard back from them, and have not received a refund yet. Do not book with them! The whole thing is very strange and does not add up.

Took the kids here for a weekend away and had a great visit. The hosts were responsive when we found an issue upon arrival and quickly provided a solution. The hills between the cabin and pavilion are steep and slick, especially after rain, so take this into consideration when thinking about guests' mobility.

Perfect blend of luxury and “roughing it” everything was clean, well designed and perfect accommodations. Nestled in a beautiful forest, felt very remote but was minutes from all the great hikes and food.
