Creekside Cabin Close to hiking trails and waterfalls

This is a delightful property and the owners take care to add nice little touches. It is a quiet cabin in the woods, in a beautiful area. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the local mountains and waterfalls.

Pat was a lovely host. I had mentioned during the booking process that my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and she went out of her way to get us a sweet Anniversary card and a tin of delicious gourmet cookies. We had a peaceful relaxing weekend. The cabin was in a great location, clean, and Pat was very responsive throughout our stay.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Clean and very convenient to all outdoor activities.

This little cabin was perfect for my friend and me during our weekend stay in Georgia. It's a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. The parking situation is tight but doable if you are confident in your driving skills!

Great! Good location. Note: our iPhone GPS told us to turn off Rainey Mtn Rd onto the loop right before the road we needed (Hickory Flat) , so that was a bit confusing. Thankfully, my wife could see our cabin through the woods. Not sure if anyone else would have this problem, but a note in the directions could be helpful to others.

Very clean cabin nice and away from the main road. Had bad wifi would sometimes be able to connect on the front porch but not a guarantee. Was really nice to unwind and disconnect. We both got lots of reading done. Would love to stay here again.

Beautifully appointed and cozy! Limited wifi and no satellite TV was a big plus for us to be able to just enjoy being in the mountains and relaxing. Cabin had everything we needed, just bring food and personal items.

Very nice cabin

GPS did not work well for this address. Easy check in after we found it. It has everything you need for a cozy stay. As stated in listing, cell service and WiFi are very hard to find. Nearby Clayton has a nice old downtown area and the river is really close for fun activities.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The location is perfect for exploring local hiking trails, and the peaceful setting was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and had plenty of fresh towels. While there wasn’t Wi-Fi inside, we could connect from the front porch—which actually made the stay even better, giving us the chance to truly unplug and enjoy quality time together. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in nature!

Quiet and clean. Close to shops

This cabin was very nice, clean and in close proximity to the Chattooga River. Communication with property manager was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in an awesome cabin! It was so clean and well decorated! The only problem was no internet or phone! I was ok but my husband hated it! This was not pointed out in the write up! Met a very nice neighbor.

Cabin was very nice and clean besides a spider here and there but to be expected when staying in the woods. Had to communicate with the owner about getting hot water and they had very good communication with the questions we had despite them being away for a family emergency. Just a little heads up though that we are with Verizon for cellular service and we were lucky to get one weak bar in three random spots in the house so be prepared for no outside contact if needing to make phone calls or send messages. I was lucky to find a spot to message the owner when needed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and were thankful for the host communicating well with us and within a reasonable timeframe.

Great location for exploring north Ga and all its wonders. Cabin was really nice.

The cabin was so clean. Not sure I’ve seen many VRBO’s that clean. Very comfortable with great porches for enjoying the fresh air. Hosts were super responsive to questions. The cabin had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

This was a great place for my husband and me to un-plug and re-set. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The location was easy to get to, private, but yet close to town and the Tallullah Gorge. We loved our stay here!

Amazing! Fun little cabin. It's just what our family needed to get in tune with each other. We loved the welcoming the host left for us! Thank you so much! Everything was so memorable for us and was a huge plus to have Christmas morning with the kids there.

This was exactly what we needed as a couple. The cabin was perf2for just disconnecting and Pat ans John were wonderful hosts. We almay make this a spot for next year!

Cabin was well furnished. Very comfortable. The owners left a sweet treat and a welcoming message for our family as we arrived. It was a truly relaxed weekend even though we were in town for my daughters riding competition. Cabin was so quiet and peaceful. The waterfall out front was so relaxing and having the firepit was amazing, though we didn't get a chance to use it. We would definitely rent again. Met the owner and he was super sweet and caring. Great people to rent from, they go above and beyond for their guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cabin is really charming. Great location for shopping, great restaurants and fishing. We shopped in downtown Clayton and ate at Universal Joint..really good! Went trout fishing at Andy’s Trout Farm.

Perfect

Very clean and cozy! Great location in the N GA mountains and close to NC. Cabin was well stocked with all essentials. Lots of Pros! Just a couple cons - WIFI is listed as one of the ammentities.... but the signal is so weak it should not be. Do not plan on using any devices on WIFI, could not stream anything. The parking driveway is challenging, it has a steep drop off and very little room to turn around. I have an Honda CRV and it took a five or six point turn to turn around to get out off the driveway. And lastly the ceiling light fixture in the loft is a safety concern it should be removed, Iwill definitely pass this onto the hosts. If these three items are addressed this is a five plus star stay!

The cabin was so comfortable and cozy. Pat communicated with us so well (even when I forgot to check my messages!) Our grandsons loved sleeping in the loft and our toddler granddaughter loved napping on the very comfortable sleeper sofa. WiFi was convenient (although weak - in this whole area we expected that, having stayed in these mountains many times before!) If you plan to do a lot of cooking you may want to bring a few of your own things as there are only the basics. I loved that their were plenty of towels and linens available. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality.
