Creek Wood Reserve in Mentone, near Brow Park

Our family stayed in the black fox cabin 2/13-15/26. We had a wonderful time there. The cabin had everything we needed and the hot tub and fire pit were a huge bonus! The cabin itself was decorated so nicely. We spent Saturday, 2/14 hiking to Desoto Falls and we were able to check out the wildflower cafe as well. It was a short trip to celebrate our daughter's 13th birthday, and we were able to do what all she had on her lists to see! Highly recommended this place and we hope to be back soon!

Absolutely loved this cabin and its host. We hiked, we ate, we played games and relaxed. Everything was perfect. Nicci was available whenever we needed her for questions or special requests. We will definitely be back for our annual girls trip. I can’t think of a single thing we needed that wasn’t available.

Beautiful home in the forest with total privacy! Comfortable living room and bedrooms and well-appointed kitchen. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Note that both bathrooms with showers can only be accessed through the bedrooms, so best for families or close friends :)

This was our third stay here. We love the privacy and coziness of this cabin. It really is a beautiful and relaxing stay. The hot tub is a fabulous feature. Would definitively recommend anyone to stay here.

Great cabin for our weekend trip. Felt like we were away from everyone in our own little area, but just down the street from the main area of Mentone.

Property and location were great- just a few minor issues. Dead gnats in upstairs bedroom, no trash bags for kitchen. But other than that, It was great. And host was prompt to answer questions…

We loved this beautiful secluded cabin. It was perfect for our family spring break trip. The host was very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was okay. We enjoyed hiking to the creek, soaking in the hot tub, playing games that were provided, and generally relaxing and enjoying nature.

Perfect title for the cabin - very nice and secluded, night time was very quiet and peaceful. Once in a while you will hear animal sounds, very cool. Fire pit was great with lighting. Need a little more hanging lights above the Propane cooker area. Plan on coming back..

Great location very secluded

We spent thanksgiving in the cabin and loved the peace of the area. The hot tub and fireplace were my family’s favorites. Nicci is an incredible host and we hope to return.

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love the property and the cabin. Its so peaceful. The owners were so easy to communicate with and we would definitely recommend staying here. Just a few things that need some attention but overall great place!

Beautiful secluded cabin with the comforts of home.

We loved everything about our stay at Creek Wood Reserve! We played games, enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, went hiking, and did some shopping at some of the local stores. The cabin is beautiful and we loved having the complementary smores :) We will definitely be back.

Great property! Has everything needed for a great stay

We were in awe from the moment we pulled into the driveway. When we walked in the door our famous words were oh my goodness y’all look at this oh my goodness y’all look at that. Such a beautiful secluded cabin. Lots to do inside and outside. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

The house and property were beautiful! Very clean, very well stocked! Only have to bring food and clothes. They have almost any pot, utensil and cooking appliance you can think of. They even leave plenty of dishwasher tabs to run the dishwasher. Double stack washer/dryer. Rooms all decorated beautifully. Beds were all very comfortable. Sitting in the living room with our family felt as comfortable as hanging out in our own. And don’t let me forget to mention the hot tub we used daily after all of the hiking we did. Also took advantage of the huge swing on the front porch. I cannot say enough about this cabin and Nicci! Super friendly and available. 10 stars!

My husband and I spent four nights at Creek Wood Reserve. We enjoyed the quiet beauty of the surroundings and the comfort of your home. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We would rent it again if we have a chance to return to Mentone.

If yall are looking for the MOST peaceful, beautiful, relaxing get away this is your place!!!!! Nicci is the absolute sweetest best host I’ve ever encountered. This beautiful cabin is a 10/10!!

Responds to my texts or messages very quickly and answers all my concerns or questions immediately.
