Property was very clean and exactly how it was advertised. Will definitely stay again.

The host was extremely accommodating, and the cabin was perfect for a couples get away. Very clean and hot tub was very relaxing... lots of little extra you usually don't see at other cabins... the firewood for the fire pit was a nice touch as well... oh and the board games were nice as well. Highly recommend for a couples get away!

Very private and cozy, backs to the woods and a creek. Hot tub was nice. Bathroom was small, shower head needs replaced and moved atleast a foot higher.

Loved the cabin! Hot tub had an issue (my fault!) and the owner was incredibly quick to respond. The cabin itself is adorable. Only thing that would improve things a bit would be more hooks/places to hang wet towels and swim suits after using the hot tub - it was rainy so draping over the deck railing or anywhere outside was not an option. Also, an outdoor trash can would be nice - we were worried that leaving bags of trash outside might attract animals. All in all it was a lovely and relaxing getaway!

Very nice private cabin

Cottage was absolutely perfect. Loved the interior decorating. Bonfire space and hot tub were fantastic. Views were beautiful with a river behind the house and a stream beside the house which you could see and hear. Comfortable and charming. Tucked into a wooded lot.

Are stay was wonderful small cabin that has everything you need for a staycation away from home. Loved the hot tub in the woods.

We had no interaction with the host, the door code showed up the day before our stay, nothing unusual to me. The cottage was very cute, stocked fine for us and our stay. I’m a birder and the birding and wildlife was exceptional!

This place was awesome, even in mid-November rain, it was beautiful. The bed was comfy, the house was warm and cozy. I'm definitely coming back. We got to the cabin around 7pm, driving in the rain and it was dark, I would've loved for a porch light to be on, to make it more visible. The street lamp wasn't on so we were in the dark, walking up to a cabin in the dark was a little unnerving.

The location was spotless and very well maintained! View was amazing and hot perfect after a long hike.

Was a perfect little get away for the wife and I. Secluded enough that we felt at one with nature; yet convenient enough for stores and entertainment. The cabin was well done and relaxing, with a great rear view that was beautiful to wake up to in the mornings.

The cabin was everything as advertised! Clean, cozy and private...beautiful setting with the hot tub on the back deck area. The pictures of the renovation in the host's welcome book were fun to see, they really did a great job with this place. Would definitely return again!

It was very peaceful and relaxing. Everything that was talked about this place is true. Was very clean and refreshing. Very well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Over all had a fantastic time wish it did t end. We will be coming back, hopefully for are one year wedding anniversary!!

Overall, a nice relaxing getaway spot! Very clean, and had everything we could have needed. Great view from back porch. Host left farm fresh eggs, and communicated in a timely fashion. Would recommend!

Great location for day trips into and around Hocking Hills area.

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The cabin is very welcoming and homey. The back porch is such a peacful, private place and the hottub is such a relief after traveling or hiking all day.

We loved how private this cabin was! It was so cute and cozy! Perhaps slightly haunted? We loved hanging out and grilling food on the back deck with the beautiful forest and creek view. The kitchen was really nice to prepare food in. The hot tub fantastic, especially at night with the red light on! Would definitely come back here again and I hope we do!

The cabin was very nice. We had a symphony of cicadas every day. We explored Hocking Hills and the Rock House. There was no water in the falls, but the scenery was beautiful. The outcropping of rock at the Rock House was something else. We sure got our steps in. The hot tub felt so good at the end of the day. Check in was extremely easy, communication with Jen was great. We would definitely recommend.

Check-in was easy, key code was given and access was simple. The living area was spacious and the kitchen had more room than the one at my house. Views from the patio was fantastic and the hot tub was perfect. A 10/10 stay for me, will save this area for a later vacation.

The owners are amazing. We were unsure if our trip would happen and they were extra accommodating. This home is the perfect feeling of being in the woods away from the hustle and bustle. We had everything we needed, it was so clean and cozy.

Property was cozy and well decorated. Every convenience was available for a relaxing weekend. Deck was very nice for morning beverages and meals and hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Owners were quick to respond to our questions and very nice. The fresh eggs were a nice touch!

Cabin was great, clean, wifi, bed was comfortable, kitchen with everything you would need to cook breakfast/lunch/dinner. The scenery was great. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay! It was just what we needed to round out our road trip. My husband and I loved having coffee in the hot tub in the mornings and wine in the evenings. It wasn’t too far from hiking spots. We would have gone kayaking if we had stayed longer. We enjoyed the beautiful views. The cabin is decorated perfectly and has such a homey feel. The shower was a tad small but it was hot which is all I care about! The host dropped off some firewood when the brought a new lighter, which was very kind! We got in later than planned on a Sunday so it helped us get settled.The cabin is very clean. I would maybe suggest a few more hooks for drying wet suits and towels, it was a bit cooler during our trip so we couldn’t leave stuff out to dry at night, but not a big deal. I just try not to let water drip on floors. We are definitely glad we chose this cabin. We have already shared details with others we know! Hoping to come back one day!

We loved our stay at Salt Creek Cabins. It was such a beautiful, private setting overlooking the creek. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great. We would love to return at another date!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Hosts were easy to communicate with and the property was just as described!

Sweet, clean and beautifully decorated. The location was amazing, the hot tub was relaxing. The host left lots of board games and cards to play for indoor time and even left us some farm fresh eggs to make for breakfast, a little snack basket and coffee, which went well with the rocking chair and a book on the front porch. We had the best time in this little cabin in the woods!

Great place for couples to stay! My partner and I had a fantastic time there using the hot tub everyday and were close enough to Hocking Hills area that the drive from there really didn't bother us. Only things we noticed was that the hot tub might need a chlorine refresh and they could benefit from a roach spraying soon...we noticed one that would come out in the kitchen and had seen another dead one elsewhere. Bugs are to be expected with cabin properties and we aren't bothered easily, just kept the food cleaned up. Other than that, bed was comfy, games on hand, the grill is nice, and the overlook of the creek is fantastic. Great stay.

Me and wife stayed here for an extended weekend for our 1st wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better place the cabin felt a lot bigger than what it is the hot tub was great and the views oh my gosh the property is gorgeous we will definitely be coming back for our next anniversary’s

We absolutely loved this place and how private it is! It was perfect for the 2 of us for a weekend getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, we really appreciated the farm fresh eggs! We also appreciated the extra toilet paper, paper towels, snacks, coffee, spices, etc. most hosts do not go the extra mile like that. The host was very accommodating and quick to reply and even made sure we had fire wood, which we thoroughly enjoyed the firepit on our last night. We spent most of our time relaxing on the back deck or in the hot tub, enjoying the view and sounds. Our only complaint/suggestion would be an upgrade to the shower head. It is quite abrasive and not tall people friendly. -lol We would still stay here again, highly recommend!

We loved everything about this place. It was quiet, the views were beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the Salt Creek. It is away from crowds. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We have zero complaints and would stay here again to enjoy the area.

Perfect getaway for the two of us. The property is well maintained. After a day hiking in Hawking Hill we took advantage of the hot tub which was perfect way to close out the day. Are stay began on March 2nd and checked out on the 5th Thank you for the perfect getaway

This is the perfect place if you're looking for peace and quiet. If you walk out in front of the cabin, you can see a ton of stars because it is so dark. We had a great time exploring nearby cities and parks then came back to the cabin to sit in the hot tub and relax. There are also a bunch of games to play. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend staying here.

We went to this wonderful cabin for our 23rd wedding anniversary and loved being able to relax. The hot tub was so relaxing while watching it snow. Just be prepared for the driveway which is a little bumpy and slick with ice in the winter. Will definitely be back for another long weekend as soon as we can get away.

This cabin is super cute and cozy. It’s also very clean. The towels are fluffy and smell fresh. There are matching robes provided, a welcoming hot tub and what felt like a memory foam mattress.. super comfy. There were even some freshly laid eggs waiting for us in the fridge! I feel like the hosts really knew what would make their guests comfortable and went all out. Great job!

My husband and I took a weekend getaway for us to spend some isolated time away. We really enjoyed the cabin and location. It was clean wellEquipped. And love how thoughtful Jen was they area received a ton of snow the weekend before and night before our arrival. She let us know road conditions and ensured we were safe. It was the perfect recharge. Will definitely be back.

Hot tub wouldn’t hold heat for the 3 days we were there so it was pretty much unusable. Gas grill worked ok but no metal grilling utensils. No wine corkscrew No serving bowls of any kind except for 2 cereal bowls. Cabin was clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Bed and couch were very comfortable. Great view from deck

Wonderful little cabin! Very clean, comfortable, private and peaceful. Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful views. The hot tub and propane grill were bonuses and the fireplace gave a cozy feel in the evening. You can tell the owners put great thought and intention into everything from the decor, window coverings, fresh linens and towels to a tiny Christmas tree for the season. My best friend and I wanted to get away for a weekend and we couldn’t have found a better spot! The cabin was clean and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. A beautiful view, we even got to see some deer. Will definitely be back!

Overall I couldn’t be happier of where we picked to stay for our getaway weekend. Felt like home while we were there especially with the personalized note and farm fresh eggs. Only had one minor issue with the hot tub and as soon as we messaged the host they were very quick to come out and get it fixed for us. This was the perfect weekend getaway for celebrating my boyfriend’s belated birthday. While it’s a bit of a drive to hocking hills, the price and amenities were worth the further drive. Jen and Derick were excellent hosts- leaving us firewood and farm fresh eggs. We hope to come back!

This cabin was perfect for our anniversary weekend getaway. The cabin and hot tub were clean and beautifully decorated. The host thought of all the little things with extra bathroom toiletries, coffee and spices, even farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator. The only slight drawback is that there is not an easy way to get down to the creek, and it's a 30min drive to hiking trails in Hocking Hills, but that did not detract from how much we enjoyed our weekend. We would rent again!

We just wanted a little secluded getaway for our honeymoon and this was the most perfect spot for that we appreciate the owners for letting us stay and making it feel so special when we came in we are looking forward to coming back again soon

We enjoyed our stay at the Salt Creek Cabin! It rained most our trip, which kept us from exploring the property but we stayed busy with the many games included in the cabin. A bit snug, but an enjoyable, peaceful cabin for sure!

Let me just say how absolutely perfect this cabin was!! Jen was absolutely wonderful and even got us the sweetest card for our anniversary! She really goes above and beyond for her guests and it shows! I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you want the perfect getaway don’t hesitate to stay here!

everything about this place is perfect. we loved how secluded it is while only being a short drive to chillicothe! extremely clean, had everything we needed, and host was quick to respond to any questions we had. we plan on coming back someday! the only thing i would recommend is driving an SUV or truck to the property, my small sedan scraped underneath a little bit getting into the driveway, but no big deal. 10/10!

Cabin was very clean and the owner Jen was wonderful. Its secluded which is what we wanted but,also not to far away from places to visit like Hocking Hills.. we did visit during a drought so i cant wait to visit next year to see the waterfalls. Absolutely recommend this cabin and we will definitely be back

Had a great time in two days. Lots to do around the area. A bit of a drive from towns and Hocking Hills but kayaking spot nearby and a tradeoff worth having for the privacy you receive on this property. The house is perfectly laid out for two people and the host was extremely helpful and receptive to questions.

It was a wonderful spot for a 3 day get-a-way. Between the hot tub, creek, and fireplace, as well as the whole aesthetic and feel of the place, it was certainly a spot to come back to.
