This is the second property of Will’s that we have vacationed in for our Christmas holidays! Will has made his homes very welcoming. Everything is spotless and in working order. We even got a visit from all the local deer on Christmas day! Location is in proximity for skiing, snow tubing and visiting Santa and his reindeer.

We e recently learned our Bernese Mt Dog, Journey has cancer! Since he loves snow we decided to take a little trip farther north in hopes of getting some snow for him & his brother Tater. We found Will’s cozy cottage with a fenced yard on VRBO! The property description along with all the excellent reviews of the cozy comfort, cleanliness, the tranquil setting, the abundant wildlife…mainly the beautiful deer, the secure fenced yard and the property owner’s quick response and genuine concern that your comfortable and enjoy your stay were all spot on! We had a very comfy, warm and cozy, snugfest with our big boys! We found animal tracks in the snow and had fun playing detective to see who our little visitor was! Much to our delight, we determined it was a little masked bandit! We enjoyed watching the cute little squirrels playing tag and hide and go seek! We really enjoyed being amongst all the beautiful deer! We were very respectful of their space and made sure our big boys were too! Our beautiful Journey got his snow! We ended our last night with delicious T-bone steak dinners we cooked on the grill for us and for our sweet boys! It wasa bittersweet week that we will never forget! Thank you Will for allowing us the pleasure to stay in your very cozy cottage! We would love to come and stay sometime in the near future!

House was very clean and host was nice and able to reach. Upstairs shower was small and harder to use but all in all an amazing property and experience

Clean and pet friendly. The fenced yard is amazing with a dog. Everything you would want in a host and a property.

House was clean and well maintained. We would have preferred to have an AC unit on the first floor as well, but opening the window did the trick since it was a cool September night.

This is our third year coming here and second house we have rented from Will. He’s great with communication and the house is exactly what we were looking for. We look forward to coming back!

Excellent stay here. The house was perfect, very clean and well equipped, and the back yard was very much enjoyed with my dog.

This place is a gem! The neighbors are super friendly, and the pool and beach areas are right there.

I stayed with a friend for 4 days. The house is lovely, the location is great, however there was no AC (I would not have stayed in a house that didn’t have AC) and the coffee maker didn’t work. I also didn’t love the checkout expectations for cleaning everything (including stripping all beds and loading the washer, not possible with all the linens and towels). We paid a lot, and I expect more.

The house was just as pictured and very clean. The location is great and only a 10 minite drive away from some great hiking trails. The fenced in yard was a big bonus and our dog kived it. The community felt safe and quiet. Will was very responsive and attentive, will definitly look here when planning our next stay in the Poconos!

Very clean and as the wife said “cute”. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in the area. Loved the fenced in yard and it exceeded our expectations.

What a wonderful and relaxing experience my husband and I and our two adult kids had at this super cozy and very clean cottage! We all highly recommend this place, and will plan our next gathering here. My favorite spot was in the family room where we all snuggled into the comfortable couch in front of the fireplace and caught up or watched movies together. There was also plenty of room in the kitchen for all of us to work together during meal prep without bumping into one another. Another highlight was the large fenced backyard where we never had to stress about the dogs running around since it was completely enclosed (down to the ground and under the patio). No possible way to escape.

Overall this was an A plus property.

Beautiful house very up to date and so cute and clean. It's in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of wildlife. My dog loved the fenced in yard. Near good places to eat, and in the vacinity of great amenities.

The home worked wonderfully for our weekend getaway! Plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, and a nice backyard with sitting area. The spiral staircase would definitely be a problem for someone with bad balance/larger size/limited mobility, but it was fine for us. My spouse, who is over 6ft, also had no issues with headspace walking around the loft, something he was worried about!

A very nice community with a quiet nature setting and deer and squirrels visiting us daily. Even though the weather did not permit us to use the pool or beach but once, it was nice getting out of the city and enjoyibg the natural beauty.

Will is responsive and helpful as host. Feels very private on back deck unless you count deer peering in. Wonderful long weekend!

Great location to explore Jim Thorpe and Hickory Run State Park (which is right down the street!). Well-appointed cabin with big yard/deck to explore - dogs loved it! We had plenty of rooms for 4 adults. Exactly as pictured. House is in a very quiet neighborhood with a lovely lake and amenities. We did not have time to use the amenities, but the lake view was very nice! If traveling with pets, check out nearby Boulder Tavern - we had a nice meal on the patio with the pups. Overall great pet friendly stay!
