We had booked a guide for the Watauga lake to fish for smallmouth bass and thought we would stay the weekend on the lake. It was quiet, we read, we watched movies and had excellent food we cooked on the grill. It was very relaxing, even made a jaunt out to Doe Mountain to ride side-by-side’s up the mountain for beautiful views. Absolutely excellent weekend.

Exactly what we needed after the loud, busy Nascar race. It had everything we required and then some. We recommend a sunset dinner on the deck with the peace of the forest surrounding you.

We had a great time and the property, Wifi, and everything was very nice. You will be out in the woods a bit - watch out for deer. The bedroom is downstairs and the bathroom is on the 1st floor. Very comfortable cabin with good A/C and small, but functional, kitchen (as expected). My wife and I loved it ...

A little remote, and pretty Spartan. I could have used a small dresser in the bedroom, I hate living out of an open suitcase for days. No bathroom downstairs where the bedroom is. On the plus side, it was spotless clean, the outside deck was wonderful.
