Morrison, Colorado
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This cozy cabin nestles four miles away from the city and sits on a half acre of land with a steam running through. Perfect to rent for a concert, family vacation, ski trip, or peaceful change of scenery to work.
Small Mountain town, right next to Evergreen Co, sledding, hiking, snowshoeing, ice skating within 15 minutes.
Plenty of parking, walking distance to 2 restaurants/bars. Driver available for tours, excursions.
The worst part was finding the driveway that came off the main road, which would have been better than coming in from the top like google maps took us. It was dark which didn't help, and snow made it very icy. Then we had to call, because we were never given directions on how to get the key. Beds were not comfortable. Enjoyed having all the kitchen items to cook our own food. Place is nice.
This newly renovated house was so adorable and very comfortable. The amenities in the cabinets were limited so suggestion to go shopping after you see what they have stocked. It was a great place in regards to location, not too far from Denver and close to many hiking spots and uniquie shopping. We would stay there again. Owner answered all communications. Thank you
Finding the place can be a challenge with the mountain village back roads, so try to arrive with some daylight to make it easier to find! Once you arrive, the place is exactly what you’d want from a mountain getaway - a well stocked kitchen, updated amenities, and modern conveniences give you everything you need to have a quiet time in the mountains. There’s even a couple great shops and restaurants right across the creek (just be careful getting across!). You can’t go wrong with staying here. ??️
We enjoyed an early family thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was up to the task. Our dog enjoyed the yard and the house. The house was well supplied and accommodated our needs. We enjoyed our stay.
Couldn't ask for a better location for attending a Red Rock concert!
Such a wonderful cabin! Felt like a new home inside. Excellent appliances, very clean! Just a few miles off the main highways, yet felt like deep in the mountains. So easy to get to Red Rocks, ( less than 10 minutes), Rocky Mountain NP, Colorado Springs, and wonderful views from Mount Falcon, just up the road. We enjoyed the 6 deer who came every morning (all bucks!). The dart board outside was such a nice surprize! Would love to stay again*****
We loved our time at the cabin. There were about six deer within 20 feet of the driveway as I pulled in, and they didn't really flinch. We saw them periodically over the next couple of days. There's a sense of being remote and private, but you're also conveniently close to the main road. You're also within maybe 5 miles or so of Red Rocks with the advantage of taking the lesser traveled entry/exit. My only complaint—which I did not voice to anyone at all, so please don't think they weren't responsive or something—is the house only had Great Value coffee grounds. This sounds snobbish, but I actually drove about 20 minutes to go get coffee rather than brewing that. But they won bonus points for having a few bottles of beer and a bottle of wine in the fridge, even if we didn't drink them all. Back to the basics: The beds and bedrooms are comfortable. There is just one bathroom, but it's very nice. The finishes on the interior of the cabin were wonderful, and it managed to blend in with the aesthetic. Barb and Carley were helpful and flexible. The House Rules were absolutely reasonable, and the check-out was basically take out the trash, which was great compared to a lot of the more high-maintenance owners you might come across. They removed the hassle from the process. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks!
It took us a while to find the drive way even with the written instructions from the hosts. Outside of the tricky entrance, this was an amazing spot in a great area. We just wished the hanging lights worked so we could hang out outside later into the night.
We were in town for a long weekend and a Red Rocks concert. Location was perfect. Beautiful property, cozy and inviting. Good communication with the owner. We'll be back!
The property is tidy and a very convenient location to Red Rocks amphitheater. Finding it is a little tricky so best to follow owner’s directions. (GPS takes you to wrong addr)
Nice renovated cabin near Red Rocks. Very clean and had all the essentials. Try the Mac N Cheese joint across the street!
We had a fun time at this cabin. It was very clean and quiet.
Awesome! We were flying in from out of state and the host was amazing at accommodating an early check in for us. Excellent communication and fast responses. The property was adorable and cozy. Loved it and even better and more spacious in the common area then the photos depicted. Gorgeous and all renovated inside. Just beautiful. The renter had all the amenities and thought of every extra detail. Wonderful binder on everything from hiking trails to how to handle wildlife encounters to best restaurants and those that deliver. Overall- amazing stay and service and I’d definitely stay there again.
Perfect cabin in the woods!!! Loved sleeping to sound of the stream. Cabin was exactly as descibed in the listing.
Great spot to get away for a few days. It would be helpful if the listing indicated the proximity to the main road. We chose this house as we were under the impression that it was more secluded based on our original outreach and indications as to what we were looking for, however, the area is surprisingly noisy. We chose the area for the 4th of July to get away from the noise and fireworks and typical city life (family member with PTSD) but there is a parade that fires off either fireworks or guns during the parade, plus there were fireworks being lit at night. I don't want this to take away from the location and neighborhood because it is beautiful but hopefully this additional information is helpful for others in the future. Nice place! Would come back during another time of year.
The location of this property is perfect! It's so close to great hiking, Red Rocks, and Denver. It was a lovely place to come back to after a day of hiking or after the show at Red Rocks. It has everything you need and was so comfortable. Communication with the owners was great and quick, which was very appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to stay in the area!
Great cabin close to Red Rock. Communication was great from the owner and manager. Would have loved to stay longer! First of time using Vrbo, but definitely won’t be the last!
The property was beautiful, easy access, very quiet and peaceful. The check-in process was easy and communication was friendly and helpful. The cabin was beautiful with wildlife and plenty to enjoy. The reading selection was perfect. Wish we could of stayed longer; we had a great time. Thank you for having us.
Cute 2 bedroom cabin with stylish decor and comfortable beds/couches. All amenities are available from hair dryer to washer/dryer to shower products, etc. Would love to rent in warmer weather to use the sunroom and patio.
Love the house, amenities and location! It was perfect for our stay and will stay or recommend for future trips!
Beautiful cabin! Close to the city but hidden away enough to feel isolated! Great communication from the owner as needed. Will definitely stay again!
Great place for the family and VERY convenient! We loved the house!
