I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed two nights as we were visiting family in Gunnison. This is a perfect location between CB and Gunnison. It's beautiful. The cabin was cute and quaint. My husband, two sons (22 and 20) and dog stayed. They boys stayed in the loft. It's a very large space and they had to crawl around. Our dog is older and couldn't climb the stairs to the carpeted loft. So if you anticipate stairs being a problem for you doggie I recommend bringing their bed. There are so many areas to walk/hike that your dog will love! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We didn't need to cook but it would've been hard for us to all have a place to sit and eat because the living room is small and the table only had 3 chairs. However, there's a nice area to sit outside if the weather is good. We would stay their again!

The location is perfect for trips into Gunnison for breakfast, farmers market and a hike. And it's a quick trip up to Crested Butte, for a movie on a rainy afternoon.

Stayed Aug 10, 2025The cabin was small, clean and cozy, but the ceilings in the loft were just 4 feet high. Guests staying up there had to crawl to get to both beds - not a great experience. The staff at the front desk/fly shop were friendly and made check in and check out a breeze. Overall it was okay because the 2nd floor was not really a second floor.

Stayed Mar 27, 2025Adorable cabin in a lovely area. A nice side yard for the dog.As mentioned, the top level is only 4’ tall. Would have been perfect for smaller children. Not so great for a teen that is 5’7”. We made it work, though!The cabin was cute and cozy and just enough space for all of us.

Stayed Jan 10, 2025This cabin was an amazing spot! We stayed for a weekend of skiing at Crested Butte and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen.
