Cozy Tahoe Donner Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family get away. It has a ton of space and full of everything needed. The location was amazing too. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Excellent stay. That property was clean, nice, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The property manager was extremely communicative and helpful. We'll definitely look at staying again in the future. Five stars.

Note that the house has 2 bathrooms, not three, as shown in the listing. Other than that, we were very pleased with the house. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the house was very clean.

Great location close to Tahoe donner and easy drive to Truckee. House was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen. There was tons of firewood for the cozy wood stove. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. Good supply of soap, shampoos etc. Al we needed was SNOW!

Great neighborhood. Cozy and inviting spaces. Well stocked kitchen. Highly responsive host. Came here with a my family of six ranging in age from 12 to 87 and everyone had a fantastic time.

The cabin is clean, fully stocked, and nicer than the pictures shown. It was nice to have access to the lodge, the pool, and hot tub after a day of hiking. The cabin was within 10-15 minutes to everything we wanted to do. overall a great stay and would definitely return. Thanks Dennis

A beautiful get away! The home fit our family perfectly and our little ones loved the toys!

We stayed for a week in this comfortable house, which is on a quiet street. The only noise we encountered was from remodeling that was going on to neighboring houses. The deck is large and has a nice view of trees and a few homes. It was a good place to relax. The kitchen is well-equipped (but needs a couple of new non-stick frying pans), living room couches and chairs are comfortable, and the central heating works well. We also appreciated that there was shampoo/rinse, and plenty of toilet paper! A couple of things to note: dogs must be in a dog crate if left alone in the house (a standard rule for most rentals), so bring your crate. The driveway has a slight slope. We thought the queen bed was quite soft - fine for one adult but two adults might roll to the middle. Finally, Dennis was quick to respond to our communications. I would give this property 4.5 stars if that was an option!

The cabin was wonderful! My family had an amazing time spending spring break here. The location is perfect and it had everything we needed to enjoy a family getaway. We will definitely be coming back!

Such a lovely cabin, close to everything and the host was excellent!

We enjoyed our time in the cabin as a family with 2 little ones under 2. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Rooms were comfortable with enough space. Enjoyed the snow sleds, yard space, and wood burning fireplace. Would stay again in the future, thank you for the hospitality.

Very nice, large cabin with all the necessary amenities. A lot of cute detailed decorations. Plethora of books and games (and TVs) to keep everyone busy. Plenty of snow equipments. Kitchen is also very well equiped. The garage is a plus!!

We liked this place for the size, great value for a small family to have a house without having something too large. Nice space outside to play in the snow with young kids.

Our family of 6 and dog had a great stay! We were comfortable and warm. Cute bear decor!

The cabin is perfectly comfortable and has everything you’d need for a long weekend stay. We didn’t cook at all on our moms weekend (lots of good restaurants in Truckee!) but the kitchen seemed to be equipped with anything you’d need. I really appreciated the wood stacked neatly in the garage and we enjoyed sipping coffee in the morning by the fire. Location within TD is very convenient. Driveway was not too tricky to navigate, even with some ice/snow. I made a mental note that it would be a perfect place to return to with my young children because it’s a very family friendly cabin and has a cabinet of kids toys/games! Would definitely look into staying here again.

This home is very comfortable and in a very peaceful area. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.The owner was easily reachable if needed. The check in and out procedures were well explained.

A wonderful property that felt like a home away from home; perfect for our first ever away family Christmas. Great location, the host was gracious and prompt with all communications. We did experience a challenge with a smoke alarm like sound; but this is an easy fix and the host worked with us to eliminate it.

My family of four truly enjoyed our weekend stay. The cabin has plenty of space, is well appointed and offers all the comforts of home away from home. There are televisions in all the bedrooms and great room with good app access. We enjoyed time together by the fireplace and hope to be back.

This cabin was perfect for our week in Tahoe. We were spending the holiday with family who also have a cabin in Donner (walkable). The kitchen was well equipped for our contribution to the feast. The wood stove was a bonus, too. Beautiful surroundings and we even spotted some wildlife. Highly recommended!!

Perfeft cabin for a weekend getaway. pics posted on listing do not do it justice as upon arrival we noticed many upgrades to the kitchen, dining room table & bathrooms. views from every window. Host is extremely accommodating and responsive. Would stay again.
