It can be your home-base for exploring Northern Michigan - an easy drive to Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Gaylord, and just minutes from Indian River and Burt Lake. It is very close to 5 Little Traverse Conservancy properties for those who enjoy hiking.
This 1940’s-built cabin is cozy - 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each. The screened-in porch is the perfect place to relax with a book and a beverage, or to simply listen to the River.
This is the ideal place to disconnect. There is no Wi-Fi, but a strong cell phone signal so a hotspot works well; the TV gets several PBS channels and sometimes network channels if the weather is perfect and the leaves have falln from the trees, . There is a DVD player and an eclectic collection of DVDs available. The bathroom has a shower only; there are overhead fans in all rooms as well as portable fans.
