Cozy Mtn. Cabin-Great Location for Day Trips

We had the most wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cabin was beautifully decorated, with such a calming, peaceful atmosphere. It was incredibly quiet, giving us the perfect escape. The cabin was also very well-furnished and had everything we could possibly need, whether in the kitchen or the bathrooms. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, truly a gem!

The view was nice. We did not get to do much hiking We found that the town of Young Harris was fairly closed due to it being Easter weekend. We did enjoy the restful location of the property. It has a great layout for entertaining or just chilling out.

We enjoyed another amazing visit in your cabin. Everything we needed and extra if we forgot anything! Spent way too much time on the wrap around porch, rocking, looking at the mountains, and watching the deer.

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again.

We had a great visit. The cabin was perfect for a family of four. The location is the best, one hour from everything. Everything was clean and fresh and had plenty of amenities.

The owners were so helpful and did a great job of making sure we got settled in and provided plenty of information about the cabin and the available activities in the area. Even though it was just my husband and me, the cabin is perfect for a larger family. Not only is there a lot to do around Young Harris, Rocky Knob is nicely stocked with games, WiFi, and just about anything one might need to feel like they were at home… just add your groceries and your set. We would certainly try to book with David and Pam for future trips to the mountains.

Perfect cabin for our family of 4. With 2 boys,14 and 16, it was fun to get to see them share a room together and laugh as much as they did. The driveway always had us praying but we always made it. It was the perfect location.

The hosts were very welcoming and the cabin was nicely appointed with everything you needed to relax and enjoy your time away. We will definitely be back!

The whole process was great! The host was very helpful and informative, he called to make sure everything was ok. The cabin was exactly how it was described , very clean and cozy. The driveway is a little narrow but we were given that info as well. We will absolutely be back.

Cabin was clean, and very cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. Driveway was a little tricky the first time, but after that it was fine. Check in/out was easy and host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Pam and David’s cabin is wonderful. I rented it for my parents and they raved about their stay. It is beautifully furnished and had everything they needed and more!

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. We loved the decor and communication with the host was excellent.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights in this delightful, perfectly decorated and appointed mountain cabin. Spotless, welcoming, in a central location to many sites, restaurants, and things to do. Hated to leave and will definitely visit again. Hosts called to make sure we were happy with the cabin.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very nice and equipped with lots of stuff that you may have forgotten. We would recommend staying at this cabin. The beds were comfortable and made not being at home comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin.

We stayed the weekend there for my husband’s 20 year reunion from Young Harris College. We had a great time. It was a perfect place to have a weekend getaway.

We have spent the most relaxing and comfortable week at Rocky Knob Cabin. We've stayed here for several years, each year on our anniversary, and have been blessed with a wonderful vacation and experience every time. Of the total 37 trips over the years of our marriage to North Georgia, staying here at this cabin has been the most special ones. The warmth of the surroundings in the cabin is like staying in the perfect holiday version of your own home. It's cozy and inviting and leaves us with a feeling the rest of the year of wanting to return. We're looking forward to our next stay!

Everything about this property is as advertised but way better, that’s why we have stayed at least 6 or 7 times, have lost track. Would strongly recommend it for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

My wife and I skipped our annual vacation last year due to labor shortage at work. After making some adjustment to the business, we were able to go on a vacation this year. This cabin is secluded enough to enjoy some peacefulness and yet only minutes away from town. We had a bit of a problem locating the cabin upon arrival. Do not rely on your GPS. Please follow the map that you were provided with prior to checking in. The cabin is down a steep driveway, so we were unable to have a visual queue when the GPS stated that we had arrived. Pay attention to the house number which was attached to the wooden trash can cage and also erected from the ground. Drive slowly and really pay attention to the map, not your GPS. Also, try to arrive when there is sill daylight. This cabin is well-furnished. You will have everything needed. We didn't spend much time indoor. We explored Young Harris, Hiawassee and Blairsville. All of them are just minutes away from the cabin. We also went to a few wineries, numerous different restaurants and popular attractions. There are two establishments we highly recommend, The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen and Hiawassee Brew. Both are located in Hiawassee. David was very kind to have given us a call during our stay. He wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and happy with the cabin. We certainly enjoyed our much needed rest and planning on coming back again next year.

This property exceeded every expectation we had! We've stayed at some very nice properties over the years, but this one is certainly at the top! If it lacks something in one area it makes it up in another. I'm putting this one on my return visit list!

There was no Mountain View as advertised; the porches needed cleaning; housekeeping could use supervision (Oven dirty, curtains dusty, picture frames dusty, bathroom mats needed washing). There appeared to be mold from a water leak under the sink in the second bathroom.

This cabin is so warm and inviting and is decorated with bright vibrant colors and charming decor. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to see. The cabin is tucked off the road just enough for privacy. The driveway is a bit narrow but that is part of the charm of this cabin. We had a great time exploring the nearby towns, restaurants and shopping. The lake with the mountains all around is absolutely beautiful. We had a great weekend in the North Georgia Mountains! Looking forward to our next visit.

We visit the Young Harris area every year and think this cabin is one of the nicest, well furnished and well located cabins we have stayed at over the years. The furnishings are amazing, and every detail throughout is first class. We highly recommend the cabin and plan to return next year.

Wonderful cabin and amenities! A bit short on nearby activities. Numerous restaurants, groceries, not so much. Tranquil, relaxing and the hosts were only a phone call away.

So excited that we came across this property! Exceptionally clean, comfortable, and cozy. I have never stayed somewhere that was so well set up with absolutely anything you might need for your stay - especially if you stay in and cook or like to spend any of your time in enjoying the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the mountain like we do. We did have a little hiccup getting our info to check in but it was handled so kindly and made up for in the enjoyment of our stay. If they will have us back, I see many more stays in this cozy mountain cabin until we get our own house built nearby!
