Cozy Mountain Escape Near Helen

The cabin was great. My gf and I went for our 3 year anniversary. It was clean. It was cozy. The view with coffee in the morning was fantastic. Beds were comfy. We'll probably go back at some point. Just wish my gf and I could have been able to use the hot tub. The jets were working but it just wouldn't heat up to the proper temp. Hopefully it's in working order by the time we come back.

The view is to die for. You wake up and go to sleep with the most glorious sight and so peaceful!

This was a beautiful property inside and provided beautiful views outside! Even though we knew there were other properties to either side, it was as if we were alone in the middle of nowhere and we loved it!! The hosts checked on us to make sure we had arrived and found things to our satisfaction (we had on both counts). The amenities were fantastic, and we very much enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay. They thought of everything even blankets for the couch. Our only complaint is that we didn’t book a longer stay We didn’t want to leave

Reviewer Comments: This property was absolutely perfect for our family trip to Helen.The location is quiet and away from neighbors with a beautiful Mountain View but easy yo get to and only a 5 minute trip into Helen. Location was close to the local falls and trails. The hot tub was great to come back to after a day of walking/hiking. The house was charming and very clean. It reminded me of staying at a grandparent’s cabin that was meticulously maintained and welcoming. The Georgia Mountain Rental company was very responsive and even lett us switch to this property from another one of their properties last minute. I highly recommend.

Comfortable cabin, overall very good experience. Amenities fine except for the microwave - it is an antique, doesn't work correctly and needs to be replace.

Our only negative comment would be about the cleanliness of the floors. As we cleaned up a spill in a bathroom, we found that the floor had really not been mopped lately. Also, there was a spill in front of the brown chair in the living area that had not been cleaned up indicating that that area of the floor had not been cleaned. We did have a lovely time here. We heard and saw many animals off the deck. Overall a nice place.

Beautiful view and very clean cabin. I reported to Georgia Mountain Rentals that the French doors leading to the screened in deck could be pushed open even when locked. The couch and chair needs to be replaced due to padding being worn. Queen bed was comfortable. The only other thing was a Keurig coffee maker was listed so we bought k-cups and they would not fit the Hamilton Beach coffee pot that was there. Quiet place and the hot tub was great! Close to Unicoi State Park and a few miles to Main St. Helen.

My wife and teenage daughter stayed in this 2 bedroom cabin and had a great week! Loved how the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were on opposite sides of the cabin to allow privacy. Truly loved sitting in the screened in deck area since I'm not a fan of buzzing and biting bugs. Also enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the screened in area with the mountains as my view.Also, the cabin was very close to fun such as city of Helen, tubing, hiking, Anna ruby waterfalls among lots of other stuff. Highly recommend and my family would definitely come back to this cabin.

There was a bedroom and bathroom on either side of the living area so everyone would have privacy. We enjoyed the screened-in porch every morning with coffee watching the sunrise. We spent time at wineries and time at the cabin, it was the perfect spot for us.

My husband and myself stayed with two friends (also a couple) and this was the perfect getaway. The property management was easy to communicate with and helpful. The house itself is just right for two couples. It’s has a bedroom on each end of the house with their own access to the back deck and a large living room separate access to the deck and hot tub. The view was beautiful (day and night) and we enjoyed all the amenities.We were close enough to Helen to pop down for lunch or groceries and to several trails and waterfalls. It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

House was beautiful, views even better than the picture! Everything was super clean including hot tub and grills! We really enjoyed spending time on the porch enjoying the view and by the fire. Also pretty easy short dirt road going up to house street and driveway was paved which was great!! Just a 10ish min drive from main town of Helen so if you’re looking for somewhere quieter with a view but still easy drive to shops etc. this is the place! Would definitely stay again if we came back to Helen-loved it!!

Cabin was nice with good views off the back deck. Everything worked as described and booking was easy.

We enjoyed the hot tub which was screened in on the back deck so you didn’t have to worry about bugs. We made s’mores at the fire pit one night. You do have to provide your own log or wood. The cabin isn’t new, but it was clean. The kitchen was stocked sufficiently to prepare the foods we cooked there with a little ingenuity. The beds were very comfortable - not too firm, not too soft. The shower heads are small, but the water pressure is great. We used the indoor fireplace on several cooler days. We got great pictures of the Northern Lights one night from the back deck with the mountains silhouetted in the foreground! Seeing Northern Lights was one of my bucket list items! The cabin was just a few minutes from Helen, which was another bucket list item of mine; and we enjoyed shopping, dining and seeing some entertainment there. We also hiked to Anna Ruby and Minnehaha Falls, both of which were beautiful. The staff at Georgia Mountain Rentals were always helpful, pleasant and professional. Overall, it was a great getaway!
